Dear Forum members
now i am going to apply for my younger brother in July 2012, i have some queries , i want help from my dear forum memebrs
1- for proof of funds can my brother  show the value  of his home, if he can show what he has to do for this.
2- is birth certificate necessary if his date of birth is mentioned on his id card, passport and metric certificate.
visa office is LONDON

Based on my personal experience, my opinion is;

1] Although, cash is the most suitable POF, nevertheless, Yes, one can declare value of his house, provided that the title is in the name of applicant, property is duly sub-leased and copy of sublease or title document is sent to Visa office along with valuation certificate from accredited valuers (Registered Architects), Pl ensure that property is unencumbered and free of mortgage, in case if the property is mortgaged than in such case details of loan obtained and amount outstanding against the loan also needs to be declared to VO along with substantive independent evidence; and
2] Birth Certificate is required in ORIGINAL by the Visa Office. The requirement of BC is of pivotal importance as I have read in guides that BC  issued within reasonable time of birth are acceptable, else, they may require or ask for hospital birth certificate to substantiate muncipal / NADRA BC.

Dear all,

By the Grace of God, today i have received my medical request with certain documents update including POF.

It is fyi that my ecase status was changed to "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 3, 2012." and after 13 days i have got this news.
Currently my ecase status is same as before.

My timelines are mentioned along with my Alias.

hello dear all, please let me know which is suitable DHL or TCS to send updated document to london office from islamabad?

DHL is better as apparently TCS hands over their shipments to some other service, thats why you cannot track the parcel while its on the way  .

hi all..ALHAMDULILLAH ppr-1 received...but now confused to either to shift to uk or canada...my husband has been in uk for 8 years now and will INSHALLAH get indefinite stay after 2 years...seniors who have shifted form uk to canada..can u plz advise which place is better when it comes to good living...would apprecite your replies..thnx a lot!

Seniors,

My medical was completed yesterday and I have few questions to seniors ahead of me :

  1-our Passports are expiring in Dec 2012,shall we wait for passport request fron VO or reniew our passports
  2- I read somewhere in the forum that new pp number at this stage is not advisable as all submitted documents have current PP info, if I            reniew    pp then what docs are required to inform VO.
   3- what is the expacted time of passport request from LVO,i am planning to move on 1 sept 2013.
   4- How much is the minimum validity time on Passport reqest latter issued by LVO (6 or 12 month).

 I want to apply for CAIPS because my  processing date is also 22-03-12 but i didn't received anything from VO.i want to know about form 5475.do principal applicant and spouse both have to fill that form separately or only one form is enough and one more thing as i have a relative in Canada and i will apply through him.he will fill form 5563 which box he must tick from access information act 5$ or privacy act(proof of citizenship or permanent  residence  or proof of presence in canada or he have to tick both

If original documents come with MR then it is through courier otherwise normal post.
