Dear All,
Just want to share with you all that 2 days ago I sent a CSI asking when can I expect the MR for my daughter; My MR was already done and sent in April. Today I got an email saying that the MR for her has been dispatched today.

i think its not a issue at all.. my doctor told me if u wear glasses bring your glasses for Medical...i wear the glasses and read what she ask to me and thats all just 20 second test.. read 2 or 3 letters and thats all... listen one whisper from the doctor assistant from the distance of like 2 meters for both ears and your hearing test is over...one blood urine sample and one xray..

CSI stands for Case Specific Enquiry. The usual way of contacting CHC is by sending CSI either through email or online web form Dear brothers, In recent days, many friends have used the word CSI. Can you help us to explain what is the word CSI pls help me! Thanks so much! |

Dear All,
As per CAIPS note thye have sent medical on 19-3-2012 however it was lost in transit (I assume). On my enquiry along with CAIPS copy, they respond that we will resend the medical instruction very soon. I have two questions
1. They use Pakistan post or courier service.
2. My passport is valid till June 15, 2013. Is this Ok or I need to apply for new passport.
To be on a safe side, you should apply for renewal of your passports. I didnt do that in laziness and my PPR-1 came.. you still got time mate.. |

Seniors,
I would like to ask you if it is possible to get Medical for my daughter done from another country. Me and my spouse got it done from Pakistan but now we are in a different country and will be receiving our daughter's medical shortly.
Your suggestions would be highly appreciated!

dear arsalanahmed, you mentioned that Passport should be valid for 1 yr but from others on this forum I have heard that Passport validity requirement is 6 months only. Please can someone clarify 6 months or 1 yr validity at the time of submitting passport for visa stamp?
I submitted our Medicals and other docs last week (under FSW) so waiting for next step (PPR1). My wife's passport is valid till March 2013 so hoping to submit passports by Sept 30th this year.
Dear Goran If you did your medical in may it means your visa would be valid till may 2013 (when it is issued). So if passport expired within this like march 2013 it will impact the visa validity (which will be applicable till march 2013). |

Dear Friends :
I would like to request your valued opinion
My and my family members' passports are valid till June 2014, I have already undrgone med exams in April 2012, this tantamounts that max time I have is till April 2013 if all goes well. Do you advise that I should go for passport renewal now before PPR1, because I have learnt that visa is issued once which is neither renewable nor replaceable?? or pl correct me if I am wrong.
Shall be grateful for Star Ali's comments / advise also.

Dear Mr. Hasnain Its OK as it would not impact your visa timeline .... however its good to have renewed passports (if you have sufficient time). You can get urgent passports within 7 days (normal passports are getting these days from karachi). |
