hi
can any one guide me which sort of information shud i get from my consultant as i sent my aplication on 13th may and still there z no response

What is the stage of your application. Initial Application or Full Application (Including documents).

1. For initial application you should be waiting for an email reply regarding the review of your eligibility at Nova Scotia.

2. For full Application you should be waiting for provisional acceptance letter in response to your documents and its verification at local office in Islamabad.

Hi guys.

This is my very first post in this forum. I am from karachi, Pakistan.

Before I write anything else, let me introduce myself. I am ACCA affiliate and I have BSc(Hons) in applied accounting degree from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom. I have been working as an external auditor in Big4 audit firm for almost 3 years. I have done matric in 1999 and then joined ACCA by means of passing CAT examination. I would like to mention here that I did not appear for  intermidiate exam.

Based on my breif introduction, would you guys suggest me to apply for canadain immigration or australian ?

Your comments would highly be appriciated.

Regards,

Dear Seniors

I have a confusion....I have done masters from a post graduate government college as a regular student ..but the the degree was issued by the Punjab university on which the name of the college is not mentioned altogether.

Can i write down the name of "Punjab university" in the "Institution Slot" while giving the educational background or I must mention the name of the post graduate college irrespective of this..the name of the college is mentioned or not?

Thanks

Hello Seniors,

Need your advice here. I applied on 17 july 2009 in Federal skilled worker (NOC 0711 as Construction Manager). . My application has been returned with an objection  " The main duties listed on Schedule 3, Page 2 of your application are insufficient. Please provide detailed description of your main duties performed in the identified occupation".

Since there was a limited space, i mentioned briefly as below:

1) Managed construction projects
2) Managed Maintenance Projects
3) Managed Public health Projects

Please advice. Should i attach copy of my experience letter which states my complete JD..? it covers most of the duties covered in NOC 0711.

Hi,
I have applied as a Federal Skilled worker on 30 July 2009. I have throughly read the guidelines and I think i can qualify under the new law as Federal skilled worker (NOC 0711 as Construction Manager). My total Experieince in this profession is 1.5 years (in the last 8 years) which makes me eligible to apply. But i am not sure whether my other job experience (most recent one) will help me score points (to cross the 67 mark threshold) which does not fall under the shortlisted profession.

Can anyone advice me, can I score points of my work experience that is not covered in the short listed  profession..?  Although my current work experience is listed in NOC and fall under skill level 0 and skill Type A.

Below is the table which gives a clear picture of my full time paid work experience.

S.No   Occupation                NOC     Years of Experience       Qualification                Period [/b]
1     Construction Manager    0711     1 year but less than 2   BSc Civil Engr.           2001 to 2002
2     Sales & Marketing         0611     4 years or more            MBA                       2005 till Date

Please advice as to how many points should I assume on Experience according to new set of rules.

Thanks

You secure 21 points in your occupation factor and on top of all "you qualify to apply under FSW1"
Best of luck!!!

I sent my documents and complete form to CHC, Isalamabad on 14 September 2009. Just wanted to ask whether they send some sort of acknowledgement letter. If they send one, how long do they take to acknowledge the receipt of the forms and documents because my status at CIC website has also not change though I have confirmed that they have received my docs.

Plz help

Dear zuszus

Yes, attach an extra sheet and mention the title of the form, your name and question number on the top of the form.
Also below the box of the Main Duties, write in capital letters "Continued on Sheet"

Thanks

Dear Manj Bahi,

Received Positive reply from CIO NS on 21 Sep 2009 (after 10 weeks).

Any idea now I have to send original documents or photo copies to UK Visa Office.

Thank you.

write name of your college. you will also submit your marksheets which, although issued by punjab university, have the name of your college as well, so it's not going to be a problem.
