Dear Kashifshah
as you received 6-12 month wait letter it means your file is on hold you have to wait at least 6 months for medical...

Dear Arsh Ali:
I belive that it is applicant's representation that he carries such and such amount of unencumbered funds duly supported by an independent certificate from GOP, NSS. There is no reason for visa officer to doubt rightful title over the duly certified investment. Even if visa officer is in doubt, channel of independent confirmation is always available. In my case I have also declared these investments in my Wealth Stat for Tax Year 2010 and 2011, however I have not provided wealth stats for latest years but I recall I did submit wealth stats for TY 2009 at the time of submitting complete application.

Dear Husnain- whatever u said above I agree to it bro and I said same thing I guess however the reason for which a VO can doubt is, if I make a deposit of 10 lac in my account OR if I go and buy NSS worth 10 lac just ten or thirty days before submitting my docs... I feel it can create doubt ... I am not saying this with a motive of being right or wrong, I am just saying one must not take risk of any type when we know VOs are not bothering to ask for justifications much... And sir with initial applications we can hope that VO will ask again if feels that funds are maintained for insufficient period however after second inquiry for POF we must make very accurate decision as only those people get POF request again with whom VO is not satisfied initially

The quota for the year 2012-13 will be finalized in June/July. Most probably in mid of October all programe managers will be updated for their next year targets.

I've started a discussion on subject 6 to 12 months hold letter in LinkedIn group and gathered The above information from there.

As per the current information, MI 1 cases will retain their top priority and most probably they'll use FIFO to overcome current backlog situation.

But exactly what they'll do, no one can commit. God better knows Smiley

Arsh, yes

But I'm pointing out for the next year quota. Currently the priorities are being set to MI 3 and then MI 2 as MI 1 quota has been finished for the current year!

Dear All Guru's,

I had filled my application for immmigration to canada as a skilled worker in NOC 0213 category in April 2010.
In October 2010, I had received acknowledgement letter stating that my application has been recommended. In June 2011 I had received a letter stating that my case has been shifted to London Visa office and in one year the process will be completed.
Now last week I had received a letter in which they had refused my application and reason is "mismatch of duties as per NOC 0213".
As i had seen the NOC 0213 duties and what i had writtn in my application was of same nature but the wording was different. I have 12 years of experience in IT and having certain Project Management and IT certifications in my protfolio.

Please guide me as i want to log an appeal for my case to be re-instate for immigration.

Regards,

AZFAR
