Dear All

I am applying for FSW under NOC code 0213. I need to ask 3 things

1. What is the mailing address of CHC on which I need to send my docs.
2. What is the mode of fee payment and how much is the fees. As far as I knew that standard chartered bank at Sh faisal is the place where one can go and fill voucher and fees and send the stamped voucher along with the documents.
3. I am single at the moment.Application for permanent residence in Canada form has asked for details of family member. I believe that these family members are your wife and childerns and not your parents and brother , sisters.

Kindly reply

Hi Sarfrosh,

Below is reply against your points;

1. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG76.asp
2. You will have to arrange Pay Order / DD payable in Canada (Adult Fee: CAD 550/per + Below 22 years CAD 150/per)
3. As long as you secure 67 points you are eligible though you are single. Most important is that your occupation must fall in 38 approved categories by CIC.

Hope above information will be suffice to you.

Regards and bust of luck in applying . Amer

Dear Hot lier / All senior guros !!!!

I am an Associate Cost & Management Accountant (ACMA) from the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP).
It is a three years professional program of cost & management accountancy after graduation (14 years of education). Having passed all the exams of ICMAP and having three years accounts experience associate membership is granted.
 My education profile is as under:
ACMA=3 years
B.Com =14 years
Total= 17 years.
Moreover Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan recognizes ACMA as equivalent to M.Com.
I am securing 55 points (on all relevant factors without education) now to qualify i need 22 points in Education. I am little bit confused as some people say you would get 22 or more points based on 17 years of education. On the contrary other thinks that I have only one University degree at my credit B.Com (14 years) so I would be granted 20 points.
 I am wondering if I would be given 20 points than what are the benefits of 3 years education after graduation. If they don't consider it than it is really illogical. I just want to be certain about this to make my move.the CIC Education table is summarized below for help.

1-You have a master's degree or PhD and at least 17 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study. 25 points   HEC recognize ACMA as equivalent to M.COM and having 17 years of full-time education (14 years of B.Com+3years of ACMA). I qualify for 25 points.
2-You have a three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship and at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study. 22 points.Having three years of post-graduation professional qualification and 17 years of full-time education ( 14 years of B.Com+3years of ACMA) I qualify for 22 points.

Pls go through the case and advice.
Thanks & Regards

As per the CHC London office instruction there is no need to attach copy of your Pakistani NIC (english translation) card when documents requested by CIC whereas Islamabad Office says must be attach.

Islamabad Office instructions :

IDENTITY AND CIVIL STATUS DOCUMENTS
• Photocopies of identification cards, Tazkira or Shinakhti Pass, with certified
translation in English or French for you and your spouse or common-law partner.

London Office instructions :

IDENTITY AND CIVIL STATUS DOCUMENTS
• Birth, marriage, final divorce, annulment or separation certificates for you and
your spouse or common-law partner
• Death certificate for former spouse if applicable
• Photocopy of citizenship certificate, permanent resident card or permanent
resident visa (formerly called “immigrant visa”) for any family members who are
Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada

I am going to apply from London office so would I have to give or not when requested???

Regards..

As per your above statement you are already securing 55 points without education factor then you just need 12 points in education not 22 for achieving the 67.

Last year I went to Pakistan and try to change passport from manual to computerize. But my passport expiry date is aug 2010. They refuse to change it. According to them, at the time of next renewal if i am in paksitan than i can get computerized passport otherwise i keep updating my passport from Pretoria embassy manually.
I don't understand the issue of manual / computerized passport. Especially for Canadian immigration, there is nothing wrong at all with manual passport.
Jazz in which city you are. I am in Botswana, can you please give me your contact

when u got passport for your son from SA embassy

august, 2008. i am planning to visit pakistan in near future so i will have his passport updated to computerized while in pakistan.

cut, i live in johannesburg. i have sent you a PM having my contact number.

If you have an equivalency from HEC so just attach this with your ACMA certificate and submit to CHC Islamabd when required, they will definitely get confirm form HEC Islamabad, I am not an expert but I am sure they will give you 25 points.

Waiting for others seniors reply as well

Hi friends,
I m new here
Following is my score i calculated through cic.gc

1 Education 20/25 (i have BSCS, 16 years education)
2 Language Ability 2/24 (i dont have IELTS, thts y i scored myself 2)
3 Work Experience 19/21 (Sofware Engineer, i have overlapping experience so i discarded one year)
4 Age 10/10
5 Arranged Employment 9/10 (i do have offer letter from Canadian employer)
6 Adaptability 9/10
Total Score 70/100

Now my questions are

- is my score calculation correct?
- as i am scoring more than pass marks, should i have to take IELTS exams to prove my proficiencies in English?
- also i am software engineer, under NOC 2173 ( but not listed under minister's 38 list, but i have AEO). Is it a problem?
- i have overlapping work experience, i mean one year job during study. Should i count it.
- whether my case will go to nova scotia for pre evaluation or i have to directly apply in Canadian embassy Islamabad Pakistan.

Please some body give me the answers as i am eager to file my case ASAP.
