Hi All...............

One of my friend shared some information by the source of a TV PROGRAM (Nadia Khan Show).  She recently interviewed an expert of Canadian Immigration.

1.Total 9000 Full applications are receieved at CHC, Islamabad under new fast track system.
2.For the next occupational list Only 6-10 professions will remain on list.
3. Hotel Managment, Health, Professors and accountants will remain at top and will be processed faster.
4. Total Processing time in pakistan will be minimum 8 months and max 12 months as per the current situation.

These are the highlights that he just phoned me about this interview.

It means the hint in the press release and the new letter was correct that the rules are being changed and applicants of "safer" countries will be given priority, especially the Indians.

Dear All

this is a piece on note published on canadianvisa forum last year...

The instructions don't affect our objectives for family reunification and refugee protection. Our annual levels plan will continue to establish clear targets for the number of immigrants we intend to welcome every year. For example, in 2009, Canada plans to accept between 240,000 and 265,000 new permanent residents, including approximately 70,000 in the family class, some 26,000 protected persons, and at least 20,000 provincial nominees to help provinces meet the demand for workers, many of whom are lower-skilled.

If the CHC has 9000 applications only for Pakistan...it means they have judged loopholes in their policy implemeted after 27 Feb 2008.
Hence they can modify the list or tighten the criteria by deleting the 38 list of professional to filter the immigrants.

Hi Hot,

I saw the program and I have also known the person; one of the three Lilani brothers. I would not trust them as I have found them to mostly lie and try to trap the clients, especially the ones who want to immigrate as entrepreneurs (business class). They will not give you even the very basic initial information unless you sign up with them and deposit US$ 1000/- as a start. Some of their statements could be taken as true because of experience, but I would warn all that they are no good for fast track Skilled worker cases, however, if you have lots of money, they could be very effective to help you immigrate in business class.
