Some one really fooled my Husband, it was just nothing and we couldn't receive any interview call from them, I was already suspicious and the result came the same.

Dear Zed,

No worries as far as the DD being in her/his name and not yours, it is acceptable practice by the CIU, NS. There is general delay in replies from NS by months now. Just be patient and you will have your AOR coming through, InshahAllah.

Regards,

Manj

I am new to this forum but i found it very informative. Great Work.  Well i have also applied for immigration under skilled worker category. Actually I hired a consultant who helped me fill my application and also got bank draft issued in favour of "Receiver Gereral For Canada"  . What i am confused about is the fact that my consultant deposited the money(CAD) for the bank draft using her own name and account and i attached the same with the application by writing my name on back of it. My application reached Sydney Canada on 4th July,2009 but i have not yet recieved any response. How should i know that my application is not delayed due to above confusion.
Waiting for reply.
Thans for the reply dear

@   Zed268, it really doesn't matter if paying account is different from the applicant. However, 4th July is not that old. So please be patient. It takes around 80-100 days to get any response from CIO.
Thanks for the very encouraging response amerzd

Dear All,
Should we write down our address and name at the back of the bank draft meant to the Nova Scotia with the initial application?

Seniors

Can I fill in some of the boxes of the application forms with black pen or ball point? Like if I have used an extra sheet for any detail, can i write down "continued on sheet" on the application forms?  If not, then what is the alternate?

Just write "Separate sheet attached" in Block letters

If ur consultant has sent the application package, then ask him to take updates of the case because he is responsible for this.
Otherwise wait ..may be the Nova Scotia has backlog of cases...but this delay is unusual.....
