YES MY FILE IS ALSO UNDERGOING BACKGROUND CHECKS FROM SINCE AUGUST, 2011AFTER SUBMITTED THE UPDATED DOCS IN JUNE ,2011. I FILED MY CASE IN APRIL, 2009.

Hi members,
I am using this forum first time and hope that some one can guide me,My time line is given below:

      I applied ISL office on 21 Oct 2008 with arranged employment openion
      After one month got receipt saying processing time is 8-12 months
      My file was transfered to Nova Scotia on 30 Sept 2009
      Again tranfered to London office on 30 Sept 2010,ECAS says consulate will contact you
      In August 2011 London Office again asked for few original documents and email says that it will be process in 4 months

In March 2012 I enquired through email and they said beckground check is in process,ECAS is showing in process since last 2 years and since last 6 months i got one reply that is "background check in process"

Can any one else else having the same problem,I donot know what is going on?

Dear All

Today i received another letter from london it includes IMMIGRANT SUMMARY FORM and on this form they marked big crossed on the spouse column and only principal column available. Is it means that only principal applicant fill this form ?  and how to fill this form by computer OR by hand ?

Secondly In AT BIRTH row , what we will write and what does this mean ?

Here is the example you have to fill this form .Suppose your full name is   Star Ali Haider and your surname is Star then

1. SURNAME
A) NOW...................... STAR
B) AT BIRTH.................STAR
C) OTHER SURNAMES.......N/A

2. FORENAME(S)...........ALI HAIDER

You can print the form in black or blue ink or you can get it done by typewriter , whichever suitable for you .
Please note you have to send this form in duplicate

Carefully read my post, I hv clearly mentioned that I did submit my updated Personal History. And BTW who are you to analyze other's eligibility for canadian immigration.? And I know what language to use, u better mind your own business. I havn't used any offensive words. you need to take english classes before posting on this forum. And take your words back I hv highlighted above. This is offensive language that u should not use on this forum.

i agree with you. there are some dumb vos working at chc london. those dumbs have been making mistakes and delaying cases and also wrongly rejecting people by wrong calculation of points. what is wrong calling dumb a dumb...

I think, personally, that this is a routine form and that nothing is really wrong. The form is for a prospective 'IMMIGRANT' so it is certainly a positive sign. Who knows, we might be getting the same in a few days' time. I was only one week behind you on the medical request.
BTW, have you had 'Medicals received' line on your ecas? Should we be getting worried?

Those who have received the letter to wait for few months by declaing them eligible, means they are going through the standard background check?

I don't know nowadays how we use
Word dumb in Pakistan . But in western world it is an offensive
Word could trigger quite harsh reaction. However it is or may acceptable to call someone dumbe in Pakistan nowadays . Or might be acceptable in our country due
To cultural differences. So kanamen dont take
