I am in a state of anxiety and confusion.

My Ecas has been changed from "IN PROCESS" to "DECISION MADE".

NO medical received lines has been added, no address re-appeared and no e-mail. 

So confused.

I have seen on some other thread also, it happened with other applicants, upto now no indication that it is rejection, as nobody reported any refusal letter

I had submitted my updated documents in march 2012 ( IMM0008+ Sch. A, PCC, Updated photos all family)
I had sent email just to confirm whther they have receved my doc or not. they had replied me following

Dear Sir/Madam,
 
Thank you sending your documents. We are currently in the process of conducting background/ security checks for this application. This is a lengthy process that can take several months. We will be in contact when there have been further developments with the processing of the file.

I was not asked travel history ( I had travelled many countries only for 4-20 days only, creational purpose only). I had many members from this discussion forum, majority of senior members advices me to send travel history.I had done same.
I think that is main reason for delay of my application.they have mentioned it may take several months.that was a big mistake. Any member can predict how much time it may take for security check aproximately? and what should I do? should I order CAIPS notes at this stage.

I guess they are doing every bit of activity to double check things.. They are buying times from people now and after June, they will go back to MI2 and MI3 applicants to clear their backlog and then we all waiting will get replies that we are currently dealing with backlog to cater them by XYZ time... God knows what they are up to ... One of my friend told me at the start of April that they are also planning to do these security checks before medicals as going through all the process and doing these check at end creates hassle as they have to tackle non eligible applications (on security checks) that far.. Don't know what was his source .... God help us all

First of all dont worry. it is their normal response. Secondly i dont know why we send extra information if it is not asked by the vo . every person case could be different . Thirdly calm down and wait for positive outcome . The reason,  your next step is medical and i hope you will get it v soon but frankly no body knows correct time frame. Be positive you will get your medical soon

Even after sending medicals they mostly reply same  like this.

So Nobody knows that what they do before and after medicals.

Still some applicant are waiting from last 8 to 10 months after sending medicals and even some are doing re-medicals.

They did not ask you to submit RPRF ? strange, and yes we should provide only what has been asked for, but now you need to wait, you may order caips if you want, but your case is not unusual, CHC is playing waiting game with most of the applicants.
Be a patient now, even if you are a doctor

It is a federal agency which conducts national security investigations and security intelligence collection at home and abroad. CSIS collects and analyzes intelligence and advises the Government of Canada on issues and activities that may threaten the security of Canada.CSIS also conducts security investigations and assessments for all applicants seeking a security clearance with federal departments and agencies, with the exception of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) who conduct their own security assessments.

Security Liaison Officers (SLOs) of CSIS are posted at Canadian embassies and consulates to gather security-related intelligence from other nations. This information may be gathered from other national intelligence agencies, law enforcement services and other sources. SLOs also assess potential immigrants to Canada for security issues.

Yes dear we know this, But no one knows the time frame of BG and Security checks and this is important.

On Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) web site maximum and minimum time frame for BG and Security checks is not mentioned.

You have raised this on the right time, many of us are worried about it. But thanks God I cannot recall any such case that will be rejection after medicals, but there will be some.
Anybody knows any rejection after medicals?

I didnt see anyone who got rejected after medicals but it can happen. (Visa is the only guarantee)

But I have seen some applicant after medicals CHC ask for interview.

Difficult question  did u send enquiry to chc ? thats all u can do,
I think u may get a letter that you application is in process and wait for 6-12 months, that will be a better position.

Offcourse anything can happen before visa, but rejection after medicals are rare, so be optimistic after medicals
