I received the acknowledgement email but no reply yet

I have sent my updated doc ( Personal history ) by email in response to their email
BUT did not receive any acknowledgment. I had also send an additional email that I have
not receive any acknowledgment . Please confirm me whether you have receive my doc or not

its about more than 2 weeks ..I have not receive any reply yet
what to do to confirm whether they have receive my updated doc or not

Hi aamirdr,

I have applied in Nov 2009.  In Feb 2012 my online status change into decision made and got refusal letter after 15 days. In my rejection letter they said that,

"You have indicate that you have work experience in an occupation with the following NOC code:  NOD 3112, General Practitioners and Family Physicians.  Although the NOC code corresponds to an occupation specifies in the instructions, you have not demonstrated that you demonstrated that you have a minimum of one year of continues full-time or equivalent part time, paid work experience in the occupation in the last ten years.
Since you did not provide satisfactory evidence that you have work experience in any of the listed occupations, you do not meet the requirements of the Ministerial Instructions and you applications is not eligible for processing".

I mailed them for reconsideration but they send me an e-mail after 20 days:  In that mail they said:

"Your application was carefully considered and you were provided with the decision containing the full reasons for refusing the applications and the file was closed on that day".

Kindly experts tell me is there any hope or nothing.

Gr8 boss..from your message posted above i gotta know that u recently find your kinda job. BTW from what kinda job u start when u were landed in Canada? and regarding job what are the things should be done before landing...?

Initially, I started applying for any Finance/Accounts/Banking job, but soon realized that for these kind of jobs employer requires a person with Canadian education and experience. Then I started looking for IT jobs as I have CS degree and experience in IT , as in IT your skills counts. I joined a software company in July 2011 exactly 4 months after landing.

Before that, i didnt had any kind of job till end of May (almost 3 months after landing). I was running out of funds so, in Last week of May I started an odd job in Toronto where i worked as a clerk, opening large boxes and doing shelving. Did this job for 5-6 weeks.

Regarding things to be done before landing, In my case they didnt gave me much time, as my visa validity was only for 15 days, so I had to rush. If one has time, then he should explore job market in Canada and work to build his/her resume as per the Canadian employers requirements.

Search jobs on these following websites and see their requirements and job description and prepare yourself accordingly.

They just asked they want to talk to Mr. ........ A foreign National accent (Gora)
then the my office person replied  that he is on leave and out of town, and gave him my cell number

Then He verification guy said thank you we will call him later.

did any one else received a verification call?

How do you know he was from chc, did he mention something. and what is the status of your application

Dear Umair

I think the call was not from CHC. If it was to be a verification call, the guy would have surely asked quite a few questions about you from the receptionist / admin manager. Moreover, he would have talked to your boss who signed your experience letter and confirmed your JD as well.

Very strange, I think they only use local staff for verification purpose. I don't think that any "GORA" in embassy or visa office will just pickup the phone and start calling for job verification. And by the way, whenever they call for verification, they don't want to speak to the applicant. They normally talk to HR concerned person and ask about applicant, his job title, JD's, work experience, number of years etc.

Not necessarily. My office received a call from a gora who was talking in Urdu but you can easily tell that he was a gora, he asked for me first, the receptionist told him I was out for lunch so he simply asked whats the name of our CEO, on receptionist's hesitation he said don't worry I'm calling from Canadian embassy and don't answer what you cannot or don't want to. He then asked for my job position and how long have I been around this office, the receptionist multiple times offered to direct him to HR or accounts for details but he plainly refused. The call took no longer than 3 minutes. So its all variable, sometimes locals make the calls sometimes goras, sometimes they directly ask for the HR department (as it happened with a friend of mine) and sometimes the start inquiring from the first person who picks up the phone. Keep in mind they have to keep a QA level on their own verification procedures as well, so goras do call!

Its really very strange that after getting medicals you got verification call, but it can be happen.

No Haider I received the call before medicals, I was just stating that calls can be made by goras as well as locals, and their is no said pattern on what they'll ask or who they'll ask ?
