Yes those who are getting this kind of letters they are lucky.

Well I think you are among the lucky champs. If you want to confirm this further you can intiate CAIPS. If Selection Decision is also made as 1, then chill out and relax. They already have filled their quota for 0213. So they will issue meds to you in 2013 quota.

My wife passport is valid till july 2012 and have valid visa till 24th May.It is the law that passport should be valid for six month for tarvelling so I renewed passport having husband name instead of father name but the immigrant visa is in Old passport which have father name. would it create any problem while tarvelling ?

This quota is set every year since 2002 when govt of Canada introduce 67 marks .
From this quota they allocate every country accordingly .

Canada never issue quota for each country separately.
they issue quota of immigrants for Canada from all over the world. and now this quota is more restrict in Caping system.

What is this and why now a  days some pre June 2010 Applicants are getting this type of letter.

Dear Starali, looks like this long wait has turned me into a "Jotshi Baba"! Look how I predicted this in a previouse post on 28-3-12, when the first letter ever was revealed by Arsh Ali:-

I agree except for that they are prioritizing applications NOC wise and not year wise! As per my observation once their quota for a certain NOC is filled up for the year, that NOC is put on hold! We have seen many refusals and applicants going In Process this year under various NOCs already including 0213!

What I see is that they'll complete the review of all applications by June 2012. They are already sending refusals and sending "Hold On" letters, like one received by Arsh Ali, to those who pass the review but are not on the priority list! I expect many more letters like this to follow! But the positive thing is that those who receive this letter should consider their cases as approved upto Review stage and eventually going In Process with almost no chance of refusal! Best of luck to us all!

But what about those who are "inprocess with date" not received any letter like Arsh Ali and waiting since 6-7 weeks.

They will eventually. What's happening is that

1. Those who are going to be processed this year i.e. 2012 shall receive RPRF/update forms requests etc. and eventually Medicals and Visa.

2. Those who are being put on hold till next year i.e. 2013 shall receive letters like this i.e. "wait for next 12 months".

What's common in both instances is that in both cases applicant must have line added to their eCas like "Reviewed your case and started processing on ........"

Can anyone guide on the photo specification ( i knew 35 X 45mm), but request in e-mail for new baby is "2 passport photos"

8 months since my medical done still waiting for PPR1. They never contact me since last many months except in Sept 2011 they asked me for Latest Schedule A form to submit. However, i applied for caip notes/ Gcms let see what happen to my file.....

What does it mean that your file is awaiting for visa officer review? LVO is sleeping i guess

No I havent....I got my medical and asked to submit fees and other forms along with RPRF, PCC and passport copies.
