Dear All
My wife just called me and told me that a letter is received by an oridinary mail from Canadian immigration. I asked her to open it and read it for me, she read it and letter states: This refers to your application for permanent residence, it was reviewed by an officer and found to be eligible for further processing. We anticipate being able to advise you of the next processing stepts in 6 to 12 months time.
Please note that your application is still suject to admissibility checks and verifications that deemed necessary. You are advised not to take any irrevocable action..... please do not make any case of status request during next 12 months as it will not be answered and then about informing them about any status change etc...
Dear seniros- please comment what is this, is it a good news or normal thing..... pata nahi kya kya ho raha hey, yeh immigration process hey ya pakistani batting....
thanks for providing full detail because u applied in 2010 thats why u r on hold , and they'll start processing on your application after 12 months or may b early if they r done with the backlog of 2008/2009 GOD BLESS U AND ALL I agree except for that they are prioritizing applications NOC wise and not year wise! As per my observation once their quota for a certain NOC is filled up for the year, that NOC is put on hold! We have seen many refusals and applicants going In Process this year under various NOCs already including 0213! What I see is that they'll complete the review of all applications by June 2012. They are already sending refusals and sending "Hold On" letters, like one received by Arsh Ali, to those who pass the review but are not on the priority list! I expect many more letters like this to follow! But the positive thing is that those who receive this letter should consider their cases as approved upto Review stage and eventually going In Process with almost no chance of refusal! Best of luck to us all!

Hi All
I had sent my updated doc that reach LHC on 23 rd march. today 28th march they had sent me following email
Thank you for sending us the documents. But we require the following information which was not mentioned in your Schedule A form. Can you please use the attached sheet to complete and return the following details. * Please provide personal history details from the age of 18 to present for you and your spouse.( you can send this document by email)
Actually in schedule A form they have mentioned “Provide details of your personal history since the age of 18 Or The past 10 years whichever comes first. Start with most recent information”
I had mentioned personal history of last 10 years BUT they are asking since age of 18.
Anyhow I am sending back required information today by email. Any advice?

Dear StarAliHaider, you mentioned something about RPRF encashment thing above. My RPRF got encashed on 22nd of Feb; does that point to something? By the way, I haven't received anything after that! Medicals were received at their end on 3rd Feb

Dear respected forum members specially those who are done with their medicals, - Please advise that Is it necessary that the photocopies of my sister's documents living in Canada to show her permanent residency and living, be attested by the notary public in Canada....?
- Which no should I write In Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008), Principal Applicant's Personal Details, Question3: Indicate your Universal Client Identification number (UCI) or Client Identification number (Client ID), if known (8-digit number). As when I sent my docs this was not in old forms.
Regards, AMH
