New Dehli Medical centre just suprised me with a swift response this eveining. I just have recieved a letter that was posted to me on 3-09-09 at New Delhi, India. It is in response to my previous repeat chest X-rays (Done on 26-09-09 and send on 29-09-09)  and now they want the following things to wind up this chapter anymore.

CONSULTANT REPORT: Pulmonology
Details od History, Current Clinical Status, Investigations Performed and the ETIOLOGY, DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT and Prognosis: For left apical shadow and rule out TB.
Further please SEND ALL X-RAYS to chest specialist.

This is all their requiremnt to sum up this issue.

Pray for me please and InshaAllha i will appear in Medical in a couple of days.

   @   MRS
Its schedule is :

- DEP       Khi                  13th Oct         01:25      Tuesday           Stops(Bangkok  SUVA)

   ARR       Hong Kong                            12:30

- DEP       Hong Kong         13 Oct            16:30     Tuesday            Non-Stop
  ARR       Vancouver                               13:45

Now what I didnt understand is that for how long it will stop at Bangkok!!!!!! any idea

  @   Imran

From the information you have provided one cannot suggest the actual stopover but in my opinion the stop should not be more than 1 to 2 hours as Cathy Pacific is Hong Kong based airline and its major stop is at HK. I think you will not be required to change the plane from Bangkok and the same flight will take you to Hong Kong so the stop at Bangkok should not be long.

I was just wondering why you went for this option as it will be a long and hectic journey, I think best option is PIA as it’s a direct flight and allows maximum baggage (I.e. 30 + 30 kgs) and further you can take extra hand carry in the cabin as its our local airline so they do not follow all the rules.
The only problem is that one can get tired in a direct flight of 14 hours.

 @  Imran

Forgive me I just didn't read your post correctly, yes you right PIA option is not valid for Vancouver.
Do make sure you write your experiences specially while landing at airport as It will benefit all of us and try to write before 22nd October that's when I will be flying.

What i have checked with Cathay Pacific you can have max 23Kg per bag and max two bags (2x23kg) are allowed. for me Cathay and PIA costing me almost same from Islamabad to Toronto so i would prefer PIA for many reasons (weight 30Kg+30Kg+10Kg per person), direct flight etc.

May Allah brings smiles on the face of every member of this forum through CANADA visa:)Ameen
