Submitted my application (using simplified process, in CHC ISB): Aug 21, 2008
Received initial File number: December 18, 2008
Documents Requested from CHC ISB: March 23, 2009
Docuemnts Sent: June 2, 2009

But in a mean while I applied for UK Tier 1 migration (former HSMP), on March 30, 2009 and Got visa stamped on April 04, 2009. That is called quick service (only 5 days)

Now looking forward and waiting for response from CHC...

No I didn't , My only consultant was Google .  by the way I applied from Dubai, since I am residing in Dubai. but for Canada I applied in CHC Islamabad...

See From Nova Scotia Sydney my case has been approved recently and i have only 120 days to submit full application.

Now If i take two months basic french class from French Alliance and get certificate would that certificate be enough to send with IELTS result to Islamabad along with my full permanent residence application?

Is there any chance that CIC Islamabad would ask me TEF exam later?

I dont want to withdrawl my case. What should i do now?

Proof of funds can of yours or your spouse, if he/she is accompanying you.

Fraz.....Yes you can submitt your spouse bank statement for fix Liquid Money (10000 cd) but If you are the applicant then deffinatelly you also have to submit your bank history for the confirmation of your salary transfer in your personal account. For the Skilled worker it is very important factor when an account re-confirms the ammount being transfred on regular basis as a salary on every month.

It may be risky for you to send your full application without TEF exam. Normally they dont ask for language results later as its clearly mentioned in the instructions that you have to submit any language results with your application. However, just to make sure, you may want to contact CHC Islamabad directly to enquire if thats possible.

Has anyone who has sent Full Application to CHC,Isb heard anything from CHC,Isb? I have noticed that in the month of April they were really fast tracking the Application but in the month of May theres no activity as such which probably means that they were inactive during May.I might be wrong but lets c what happens,its now 1 month tha I have sent my Full Application to CHC,Isb.Hoping to hear something from them this week.

I have met with a person yesterday whos working at Canadian Consulate,Karachi and guess what ,he told me that there was no activity at CHC,Isb until yesterday and they have just started processing and reviewing Applications from yeaterday,rather they have resumed their activity yesterday and again he told me that CHC is short of staff so Fast Track might not work here in Isb until unless CHC gets shifted to Abu Dhabi,thats also one thing that is under consideration by CIC.

one of my friend received his PPR three days ago.. so it means that CHC is working, but with a slow speed due to lack of staff proabably...

i Think most of us are in the same boat and have submitted the documents. What i understand that this is the phase that really takes a little time to verify and assesment in detail.As we can see on the track list that only Shanbaba recievd medical request and offcource he got that after 2 months of wait. I think that we should just keep coordination with each other and at least expect 2 months as standard wait time and afterwards we can comment on delayes by CHC, Islamabad. And offcource they are lack of staff and we deffinately need to understand that.

Dear all, i have sent my application last year july 2008, in april 2009 sent all the documents, in may 2009 i got Acknowledgment of receipt by email, in which they asked for providing them some additional things, which i have prepared and will be sending by end of this month, after that i would expect medical request hopefully. I am based in Abu Dhabi and applied to London Canadian immigration section...

Just received AOR from CHC Islamabad. Application was sent to them on 27th April, 2009. Lets see how much will it take further for Medical, Interview and RPRF.
