no not received any letter. Not any update after the medicals but I am worried. When we were examined by Dr. Rohina on 7th August she asked to do 2 additional tests from agha Khan for my husband. One was ECG and other was blood critinine (kidneys test). We did both tests on same days from agha khan and received reports on 10th August. Both tests were fine.We provide test reports to Dr. Rohina's PA and asked if anything is required to be done at our end but he said if they need anything else they will call us. After that no update. Looking at ur case now I am worried..............

Dear All,

Can anyone please give me contact number of CHC-ISB? It been ages since i have sent them my application, all i know through e-cas is that my case is under process since 13/06/09. I havent heard anything from them since then not even an AOR or any other inquiry. I am really frustrated now and want to move on with my normal life, so all i want is to know the status of my application. I also sent them an email inquiring the same on 10/08/09 and again didnt recieved any reply to date.
Basically getting immigration or not really doesnt matter to me at all as i have firm belief that if its not better for me in long term then Allah will not put me through this test in the first place , but what i want is a simple answer in yes or no as my other life decisions are getting hindered now.
Regards.

thanks amerzd!

i m sending proof of funds in bank statements as well as my investment in national savings.
national savings are the major chunk of my investments, and i have got the verification letter made, signed and stamped from its centre. i m also attaching the photocopies of those certificates.
in case they insist on a 'bank statement' ONLY, they will not reject the case on this basis right?

Right! They will not reject your case. Maximum they case ask you to arrange funds in liquid form (Cash at Bank Account). Please go ahead ...

Dear Ali786,

Thank you for your kind words. When anyone goes for Umra, I always request him to face holy Kaaba (or in front of Roze ki Jaali in Masjid e Nabvi), and say the following for me, "Anjum apne ghar walon ke sath salaam kehta hai".  Thats all my brother, and your this kind gesture will indebt me for life. Thank you.

Manj

amidala, this is exactly what i have done. my wife has investments in national savings centre karachi. i have a verification letter signed and stamped. i also have photocopies of the savings certificates. in addition, i also have notarized the photocopies of the savings certificates from a notary public. though i dont think this is required anyway, but just to be more safe. you will notice that the savings certificates issued by national savings centre are usually in urdu language. but the important information like name of purchaser, date of issue, certificate register number, amount invested are in english. plus, the certificates also reflect the stamps of the national savings centre and notary public (if notarized). with the original signed and stamped verification letter from national savings centre confirming your name and your investment, i hope they will be good enough.

I am pasting some issues from the topic I have just started,if some of you are doing ur cases with consultants, kindly ask them these question and let me know the answers to hese queries,I have purchased TICKET from Cathay Pacific dated 13th October,2009.My all prayers and wishes are wid u all especially Hot-Lier & Tasash.RAOO U r next in line for that magical sticker i ur passport Smiley,be prepared
There are some final issues left, kindly guide me in these :

1>At the time of landing ,do we have to carry the required amount in Bank Draft or Cash whatever OR Bank Statements can work as Proof of Fund? (I am living in Pakistan hence the Bank Account is also in PAKISTAN)

2>Is it necessary to carry the complete required amount(i.e 10,833 CAD$ for single person) or we can carry amount less than that at the time of Landing?

3>Can I make a Bank Draft in US$ and show it as proof of fund at the time of landing or the currency should be in CAD$ ?

4>If we have to carry the amount ,will that be ok if I carry some amount in cash and some in the form of Bank Draft?

@  Tashah........I pray for little angel to be fine and i am sure that InshaAllha there is nothing wrong with her.

We just had almost the same experience in this regard. I can understand your situation well. I also have recieved a letter from New Dehli and that is actually regarding to my repeat-Chest X-ray. Actually i have a little show at my chest. Though i never had a TB but this old spot is  might be the sign of some disease or swear fever that i had in childhood. But this letter really made me run everywhere to make sure that i am fine and Secondly delay in processing made me little upset. But Alhamdollilha i am fine after getting various advises by specialists and from my DMP asked me to relax.

This letter could only cause a little delay in your case and InshaAllha there will be nothing wrong with your daughter.

I can give you the number but there is no use of it, bec they will not pass any information at phone. Secondly there is not any source that could give you the staus of your application . Yes CAIPS notes are good source to know actually what is happening with your application. Dont get frustrated and leave this to Allha and then you will be relaxed InshaAllha......Best Of Luck
