AOA,
Today I recieved an email asking for proof of funds. I already submitted property valuation but it seems they do not accept it as they have clearly stated in the email that they property valuation is not acepted. They have asked me to send detailed letter from my bank or accountant showing all my assets and liabilities or bank statements in 30 days. Currently I donot have enough cash in my bank account but it can be arranged so kindly advise how should I proceed.
Thanks
Can you please share your time lines Please

Canadian Immigration Minister Jason Kenney suggested Wednesday the possibility of legislating away Canada's backlog of immigration applications.
"We're looking at all options for dealing with these backlogs... It's not fair to [applicants] and it's not fair to our economy," said Kenney.
The federal government has already moved in this direction: according to the Montreal Gazette deals have been struck with eight provinces and territories to sort through the backlog of Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) applications to move qualified applicants (who are interested) to these province's Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). Applicants will have to adhere to different criteria for each province, which can be different than the original qualifying criteria of the FSW applications.
According to the Globe & Mail, Minister Kenney described a vision of Canada moving towards an expressionist system, whereby "applicants would consent to having their application sifted by businesses and the provinces, to see who might be wanted where."
The gist of Kenney's comments suggest the government aims to find ways to significantly reduce the government's backlog of immigration applications, while providing a more responsive and quicker process in the future, especially to better match up potential immigrants with the provinces and employers who need them.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is selectively contacting applicants from the FSW program when they are eligible to be moved to a PNP program. For example, in the case of Ontario, some applicants from the following occupations are being contacted to see if they are interested in immigrating under the Ontario PNP:
NOC 2171 – Computer Analysts and Consultants NOC 2173 – Software Developers NOC 2174 – Interactive Media Programmers and Developers NOC 1112 – Financial and Investment Analysts NOC 2161 – Mathematicians Other provinces may be dealing with the application process differently.

So will it will ok if I just deposit the cash in my account and get a letter for funds. Will this letter will suffice the requirements.
Have you got medicals and RPRF in AUG 2011? if yes then why after 7 months they are again asking for proof of funds?
Secondly its very strange that they have asked you to submit Legible copies of the receipt from the DMP. I have received the medical request today. In the document they have asked me to send three things back within 60 days which are,
1. Legible copies of the receipt from the DMP (what are they) 2. Evidence of solvency. (How can I show that for me, my wife and my 16 month kid, how much I have to show for all these). 3. The right of permanent residence fees.
Is it normal to request 2 and 3 with medical?. Please advise how should I proceed.\
Regards

That will be risky. They need bank statement from 3 to 6 months. Any single big deposit could be further investigated. You need to be very careful. Can you please share your timelines?
I applied in Aug 2010.

its nothing new, why they want this, because if they received your medical from DMP after dead line due to DMP mistake, so as per receipt date they will consider your case so basically its good for us.

hi,
i applied to FSW-Centralized Intake Office in June 2009 under federal Skill worker category for "Finance Manager 0111", one of the most demanded 38 occupations. In my application I mentioned all positions I worked on during last 8 years including serving as part time lecturer in university. I received email from CIC on 28.07.2009 wherein they gave consent after initial processing & asked to submit the case within 120 days.
Now, Quite surprisingly, after more than two years, i received all my documents back and they say i dont qualify under FSW category of a "University Professor".
It is very shocking for me that they replied after 02 years and declined the case without checking that under which category I applied for. i need an expert advice, how to handle the situation. what recourse u suggest.

Maqbool Ahmad

hi its also happen with me but the difference is that i didn't show my property as a proof of fund , i just added all detail to show him my current worth , regarding for proof of fund, the amount is still there in my bank account and when they see my bank statement then they didn't ask me any question about net worth statement , so this is your mistake to show your property as a proof of fund , you know why because bank statement it self have some value but property , shares and other stuff have a different market value at that time and different book value which recorded on paper, so its a confusing thing for him that's why they need more details and it will delay your case processing and may be after that again they ask some more documents, so my personal opinion is to feed your account and send then your bank statement along with all other details so when they see your statement balance then they cannot ask any more question , regarding for feeding a account they don't care when you feed your bank account they just see closing balance at that time or what can other members do they take a balance confirmation letter from the bank and send them as a proof of fund no need to send bank statement , so tell me how chc know that you feeded your account recently because letter only show your current day balance that's it . any way its only my experience you can also take others comment .

Yes i got the medical request in aug 2011 and along with that I sent them the property valuation as proof of fund but it seems they have not accepted the property valuation as proof of fund.

So what I get from your reply is that I deposit the required amount in my bank and then get a letter from my bank stating the just the closing balance on that date. This is what you did in your case. Comments welcomed and thanks for the reply.

you just take bank reference letter from manager in my place they put only following wording this is to confirm that Mr.xyz holding Pakistani passport --------is our account holder, he is maintaining satisfactory current (a/c number ) with us since -- year and his current account balance dated --- is AED /CAD/RS ( local currency ) ----. further we would like to confirm that he don't have any liability on this account.
so take this balance confirmation letter / ref letter what ever you called in your country and send them along with other property valuation because you already tell them every thing , what my advice is to prepare your net worth statement and arrange all Supporting and send them . net worth format is easily available on net
