Lolx not correct at all. Receiving rprf doesn't mean you case has been processed and finalized...they can even refuse a case after medicals so never think receiving rprf means something.. Processing of your case is not over until you have your visa stamped...
Sohail,
They can refuse the case anytime untill u g et the canadian passport......... but I can assure u that once RPRF is paid there are very remote chances of rejection.
Those who got RPRF can feel safe (but there is no guarantee that even after getting visa we can reach there alive)

Dear Nasir,
I will suggest, send all documents immidiatley, don't wait for baby arival.
Regards

Hi Nasir!

In my opinion you should send these documents now but also write a cover letter and inform them strongly that you are expecting a baby in 35-40 days and as soon as you will get a baby you also send his / her documents. Thanks

I personally beleive since you already have ample time to submit your documents i.e. 90 days. You must wait for the new family member to arrive. You must get all the documents of the New Addition to your family as well and send them all together. In that way i think your processing time would be lesser. Other wise....once the processing of Your Family would complete they would be in a better position to complete all the formalities. Otherwise it may take longer......If you would send the covering letter as another forum member suggested then i think they would wait for the documents to complete then start the processing of your entire family.
I would suggest if you have ample time then wait and send all the documents together........

Yes you dont have enough time to have to do more or some thing new , you have send your documents as soon as possible

in my baby's case, it took a maximum of 25-30 days to complete the docmentation of new born, after getting birth certificate u can apply for urgent B-form which takes maximum of 7 days and then urgent passpport which also takes 7 days, i think it would be better if you send all the documents together especially u if you have been asked for additional family information form, bcoz if you send only your documents at this stage,,then they will start waiting, will again send u the new application form and and additionall family info form and along with these documents , it is the vo discretion whether he will send you the medicals right now or along with the baby's...you know the opinions of various forum members now,,now you do whatever you think best...Good Luck!

This is the practical demonstration of usefullness of this forum rather a "THINK TANK". Thanks to all of the above GURUS and +1 for all of u. Thanks for ur time...

Seniors, ecas status changed to DECISION MADE on 21 Feb, 2010, after IN PROCESS, PRE-JUNE case, noc 4131. In response to query to the London VO asking application actual status, the VO thus replied:

Thank you for your enquiry.

Please be advised that a letter was sent on February 28 to the mailing address on file via TCS.

We ask that you wait for the mail to arrive before requesting any further information.

Yours sincerely,

My queries:

1.The vo did not clearly tell the application status, rather it gave a poor reply. Do the wording of the vo reply suggest clearly Rejection, or something positive? Please elaborate.

2. If it is rejection, how many days are there within which the applicant can
1. request reconsidearation/review 2. appeal?

3. As per the vo reply, the letter was sent on 28 Feb via TCS, and it has not been received as yet, after 14 days now. How many  days does a couriered mail take to reach Pakistan in maximum?

4. If the review request time is 30 days after rejection, is the time counted from decision made date on ecas (21 feb), or when the letter was sent (28 feb) as per the response of the London vo,please?

5. Forumer Ezinne says as the email from the vo is from immigration and medical division, so it in fact means MR is on the way. what do you seniors predict, please?

6.Should I email another query to the vo or await their mail to reach me?

Thanks and regards,

Dear Haseeb:

Did the email read like this that they have sent via "TCS".

Ihave also received the reply regarding my case that they have sent me mail. As I am still waiting to receive I presume, its a normal mail. Today my brother checked in Karachi - Clifton Post Office and they said it will take 25 days for a normal mail to reach. I have wrote them but I think have to wait for another 5-6 days more. Good luck Smiley

Dear Senior Members!
I received email from CHC for additional documents/ police certificates/photos/ RPRF, to be submitted within 90 days. I can easily manage to submit these documents within next 20-30 days time. My wife is expecting a baby and expected date of delivery is around 30-35 days from now. My question is that should I wait for submission of these documents till arrival of new “family member”, so that he/she can be included in the updated documents. If I do so, I will be left with approximately 50 days to get Form “B” and Passport of the “to be arrived” baby. Are 50 days enough for this?. What shall be the implications, if I “JUST” send documents of mine, my spouse and 04 years old son, which were initially included in the application? Will it delay my case, to include “to be arrived” baby at later stage?Huh Plz suggest

i would also advise you to take a view of Qorax on his forum regarding your situation as well..he guides really good...!

If you ask that was there any usage of my email or any fast processing of my case because of my email then answer is no. I saw my email and his reply in GCMS notes. He posted that in GCMS notes. Thats all. Thanks

Dear Nasir bhai,

One more thing I would like to add is that as per my knowledge if officer gave you 90 days time, then your brought forward date will also be after 90 days and even you send them any thing before that date, visa officer will review the file on brought forward date not before that. Therefore I also suggest you to wait for the new comer mean while complete the other documentation and after birth of the baby immediately complete the remaining forms and include the baby in your application and mention all the details in the cover letter. By this way you will enable Visa Office to issue Medicals of entire family together and resultant reduce the over all processing time.

Further, I think people who either have to update their new born or have any minor in their family then, they should update the new born or send the updated photographs of their minor child to visa office as soon as possible. By doing this, they can receive MR alongwith RPRF and updated documents request.

Regards

Azhar

Dear Nasir, I agree 100% with discreet... You MUST update and send the docs required by the CHC asap...

My reasoning is that, there is a movement on your case, at the same time there is movement in the cases of others, when you send these docs they will not reach the CHC in the same order as they requests were sent out... why take a chance on getting to the back of the queue? Although it might not work out that way, but if 2 applicants were sent out requests on the same day with a 90 day deadline and one of them sent his docs in before the other, his case will probably get looked at before the other (that's my logic although it might not work that way but why take a chance?).

Send your docs ASAP... write about your expected newborn in a covering letter, mention that you will send the new-borns documents ASAP after birth... try as much as possible to keep your application file at the front of the queue rather than sending it when it is convenient for you to consolidate. e.g. If the case officers have a target of looking at 60 cases per month, you must not take a chance of having your case reach them when their quota is over. You must understand that CHC has to stamp a fixed number of immigration (PR) visas every year... it is not an infinite number... jitni juldee ho sakay get in the queue for the next step.

just my 2 cents.
