As per my knowledge medical may be issued before back ground checks completion, once back ground checks complete PPR is issued. And what is PMB Ottawa, is MR not issued by LVO? I came to know that MR may be retained because of fresh pictures of children in the family. As Medical Forms contain fresh pictures of Children. Regards Azhar Dear Azhar!
I have seen that too some people are getting just RPRP request and no medicals. The reason I guess is there is a rush and queue at PMB ottawa who sends out medicals. Its just a matter of days you people will get medicals. Other reason could be that may be some thing is still left in your back ground checks and they are waiting for that to be completed to issue medicals.
Best option for you is to order your CAIPS and see the notes of visa officer when he can issue medicals. Thanks

Dear Yes you are right they can even refuse after medicals but that refusal might only be because of medical issues or because of problem in back ground checks. The wording I quoted was not mine, it was copied and pasted from Canadian High Commissions Website. The respective link was also provided. What I meant is that RPRF request is sent by Visa Office after calculation of 67 points, means after review of final eligibility. Then visa is approved subject to medicals and back ground checks. Regards Azhar Lolx not correct at all. Receiving rprf doesn't mean you case has been processed and finalized...they can even refuse a case after medicals so never think receiving rprf means something.. Processing of your case is not over until you have your visa stamped...

Yes that is true... But the thing is they review for atleast 3 to 4 times by different visas officers and anything can come up at any time.. Chc website defines it generically and doesn't signifies anything.. But then again you worth receive rprf unless you do have67 points eligibility.. But what I meant was that even after that the case is far from approved....

Dear Medicals are issued on completion of back ground checks and it is PPR which is issued on completion of security checks. Actually this is a very tricky issue and it is still unclear how they handle each individual's case. It varies from person to person. In case of post june pakistani applicants it is taking a very long time to get medicals and only very few people have received medicals so far. FYI medicals are issued by PMB Ottawa and the visa office instructs PMB Ottawa to issue medicals. I don't agree that MR can be retained because of fresh pictures because if that this is the case then they would ask you for fresh pictures of child to be sent as updated documents before releasing RPRF or medicals. As I said to you earlier go for your CAIPS notes to see the reason of not getting medicalsThanks

Congratulations Brother! you havnt recieved MR like me.. Right?... I am worried about my original documents. any idea when they shall send these to me?

Dear Senior Members! I received email from CHC for additional documents/ police certificates/photos/ RPRF, to be submitted within 90 days. I can easily manage to submit these documents within next 20-30 days time. My wife is expecting a baby and expected date of delivery is around 30-35 days from now. My question is that should I wait for submission of these documents till arrival of new “family member”, so that he/she can be included in the updated documents. If I do so, I will be left with approximately 50 days to get Form “B” and Passport of the “to be arrived” baby. Are 50 days enough for this?. What shall be the implications, if I “JUST” send documents of mine, my spouse and 04 years old son, which were initially included in the application? Will it delay my case, to include “to be arrived” baby at later stage? Plz suggest

In my opinion you should send these documents now but also write a cover letter and inform them strongly that you are expecting a baby in 35-40 days and as soon as you will get a baby you also send his / her documents. Thanks

You must wait for the new family member to arrive. You must get all the documents of the New Addition to your family as well and send them all together. In that way i think your processing time would be lesser. Other wise....once the processing of Your Family would complete they would be in a better position to complete all the formalities. Otherwise it may take longer......If you would send the covering letter as another forum member suggested then i think they would wait for the documents to complete then start the processing of your entire family. I would suggest if you have ample time then wait and send all the documents together........

I thought of the same but he said he would only get 50 days to get baby's passport and form B which I think won't be enough and risky. Rest I leave up to him to decide. Thanks

The best thing would be you check from passport office if they can give you baby's passport in 40 days and also if you can get form B in 40 days. If it is possible then wait for baby to born and send everything together if not send every one else's documents and write a cover letter about birth of baby that you will send baby's documents as soon as he or she is born. Thanks
