It's been hell of a last 6-8 weeks for me. First refusal then case re-opening and yesterday I got all the original papers back and have been asked to pay RPRF fee alongwith some additional new forms, updated police certificates and children photographs.

They have returned back all the original degrees/mark sheets/Nikkah nama/ job related papers/ payslips/ birth certificates (me & spouse).
But they have kept IELTS card, bank statement and children's birth certificates. I guess they will return children's birth certificates in the next due correspondence once they received latest pictures of both children.

My message to specially those who are recently getting refusal/ decision made status, DO NOT GIVEUP. Please persue and send review request properly and INSHAALAH you will get good news very soon.
Regards,

Dear thanks for valuable information. I have also recently received refusal from London stating that I am not eligible in the category I have applied. I was planning to request them for review that I saw your post. I am writing to request if you very kindly share or advise on the contents of the review request that you wrote to them. you can remove your case specific details in the letter. Actually I just need some guidance that the letter I write should be convincing although I have and I will put my own reasons. Moreover, how did you send the letter, by post, email or fax ?

Would be very kind if you can share on the forum or write me at fasohere @ yahoo.com

Will be grateful and all prayers for u and others.

I am a silent reader of this forum my NOC #3112 and my time line as under, they updated my case status on Feb 10, 2012

We received your application for permanent residence on August 10, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 30, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the London England office on October 7, 2009. The London England office may contact you.

We transferred your application to the London England office on June 30, 2010. The London England office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 8, 2012

couple of days ago I sent an enquiry to London-im-enquiry  @  international.gc.ca, they replied me today as under

“Dear Sir/ Madam,

I can confirm that your application is pending review by an Immigration Officer. We will be in contact when there have been further developments with the processing of your file.

Regards

IMS”

I am frustrated  about their procedure, have they calculated my points or not, if yes then why they replied me that file is pending review.
If they have not calculated my points then why the stated in the online status that application was reviewed and we started processing on February 8, 2012. God knows better what they are doing?

What you guys think my application is approved or not?

Dear all

The following information may be interesting and helpful for those persons who have received RPRF request but have not received MR. Following is the extract I am copying from FAQs Page of Canadian High Commission Turkey's website: (link also given)

Fee / RPRF / Refund

When do I have to pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee?
The Right of Permanent Residence fee can be paid at the same time as the processing fee when you submit your application or at any time during the processing of your application. Once the processing of your application has been completed, we will ask you to pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee if you have not already done so. Your visa will be issued only when you have paid the Right of Permanent Residence fee.

link is

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/turkey-turquie/visas/faq.aspx?lang=eng&view=d

From the above sentence in italic bold, it is evident that RPRF fee is requested once the case is approved. And as explained by Countryboy, the reason of no MR might be the need of fresh photographs of child. It means only those applicants who have minor child in there family are asked for RPRF plus fresh photographs of child with no MR.

What you people say?

Azhar

Lolx not correct at all. Receiving rprf doesn't mean you case has been processed and finalized...they can even refuse a case after medicals so never think receiving rprf means something.. Processing of your case is not over until you have your visa stamped...

Dear Azhar!

I have seen that too some people are getting just RPRP request and no medicals. The reason I guess is there is a rush and queue at PMB ottawa who sends out medicals. Its just a matter of days you people will get medicals. Other reason could be that may be some thing is still left in your back ground checks and they are waiting for that to be completed to issue medicals.

Best option for you is to order your CAIPS and see the notes of visa officer when he can issue medicals. Thanks

Medical Request is the next logical step if you have received your positive eligibility review.

second thing i am changing my job, as well as my current address
i m going to usa for studies

I suggest you write to them IMMEDIATELY AFTER you reach the US and have started your course.
You must inform them after you have left the job exactly what date you left employment (you may attach a copy of job leaving certificate). In addition to that, you must also inform them when you began your study course (date/month) and in which University in the US. If you spent some time in-between leaving your job and flying to the US and if that time was more than 1 month, then you should tell them what you did in that time (e.g you can tell them that you were at home, unemployed and preparing for your departure for studies).
if you would like to continue to receive mail from them at your present address, then dont ask for a change in address. If you would like to receive mail from them at your new address then definitely update your address.
In any case you MUST inform them of this change in status and preferably soon after you leave your job.

have submitted my original doc along with app but not the police certificate when to send them?Huh
Police Certificates from pakistan can be obtained without a lot of trouble and they are free. There is no harm in getting your police certificates NOW before you leave for the US and submitting them to the CHC along with the letter you will write for change in your status.
There's a small chance they might ask for updated PCC from Pakistan later anyways, but whats the harm in trying? PCC can be submitted at any time, either along with application or after it any time but latest along with the Medical Examination.

regards
what should i do now Huh

Get the PCCs made... and relax... change in status is normal, and informing them about it correctly is the right thing to do... no need to worry as long as you provide the correct information. If they have any instructions for you after you have informed them about the change in status, they will get back to you and let you know specifically what you need to do. The whole point you need to understand is that you need to give them the full picture of your status with no grey areas, and they will let you know the next step.

Dear Brother.
I have just recived an email for updated documents/RPRF from CHC london. My ecas status turned into INPROCESS on 27-01-2012. i sent an email to CHC london just 03 days back and surprisingly, in response to that email they have asked for updated documents including

New Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant
New Schedule A/Background Declaration form for yourself and each family member over the age of 18
RPRF
Pllice Certificates
Recent Photos

May Allah Help all of us...AMin

Thats a very good news Dear. I received same documents / photos request and received my original documents through TCS. As per my email inquiry to CHC about photos requirement, they told me " These are for your medical forms at this time". so just keep your fingers crossed and prey to Allah for any good news.... No MR request. I talked to some experienced guy about this and he told me that MR was not sent because they fix pictures of all the applicants. When I applied my daughter was approx 6 months old and now she is almost 3 years whereas my son is 6.5 years old now. According to him, children's appearance changes a lot in the early years so for this purpose, they have only asked for the latest pictures of both children. This logic makes sense, coz when I look at the pictures of kids that I send in Oct, 2009 they have grown and look a bit different now.
Once they received new photographs, they will fix new pictures on MR forms and then they will send it to me.

Thats true...same happen to me. CHC requested me for updated family photos (my daughters were very young when I filed the case). I inquired CHC through email for these pictures and they informed me that they are for medical forms....so keep your fingers crossed and prey.

I emailed on 25/1/12 and he replied on 7/2/12 that further checks are required. Then I got my GCMS notes on 24/2/12 and in that I can see he asked for some kind of verification. I am not sure what that is if that is security, criminality, employment, education or what?

There is no specified time how much time will they take to issue you medicals. If you have sent original education documents then they will send MR by TCS and also return your originals but if you have not sent any original documents then they will send MR by normal post.

Just calm your nerves and wait and see or order your CAIPS / GCMS. You can also send them email to see what they say.

Thanks

Cocknbull,

i observe you ordered GCMS and send email almost at same time

In your GCMS :

1 - Do you find any comment or intimation of your email that you sent just one month before issuance of your GCMS ?

2 - Do you observe any working in response to your email in GCMS?

3 - Do you observe any positive response of your email in GCMS?

4 - Do you observe any special/important working during the duration from your email date till GCMS issuance date?

in short any impact of email on file processing shown in GCMS?
