Dear Brethren,
I would like to inquire about a confusion I have regarding the addresses to mention on Police Clearance Certificate Forms.
- When filling up the form for Police Certificate from Lahore, the form asks you to write all your addresses (from birth) within the district of Lahore - In my application to CIC I have mentioned all my addresses since my 18th birthday (as required by CIC). - One of my previous addresses in my CIC application is that of Islamabad (I lived there for 2 years). - There is no allowance to write that Islamabad address in my PCC form for Lahore.
What should i do? Surely I can't go and get a separate PCC from Isb. In the Lahore PCC form they only want lahore addresses, so if I don't include the Isb. address CIC might think i've deliberately left it out.
Can anyone kindly advise how to deal with this situation?
regards.
You need to provide two PCCS one from Islamabad and other from Lahore if you have lived in these cities for more than 6 months since your 18th birthday. Thanks

Thank you for the quick answer lhr_montreal!
Just to clarify. I need to send two separate PCCs?
One from Lahore and One from Islamabad?
Yes, one from Lahore bearing all the addresses at which you lived in Lahore since your turned 18 and the other from Islamabad. You have to provide PCC's from all the cities you have lived in Pakistan for 6 months or more since you've turned 18. Some people get away by providing only one PCC from Pakistan, but my advice is to provide from both cities.

Thanks cocknbull... thank you for clarifying this for me. Is this even possible to get a PCC from a city where you no longer live? I mean I am no longer a resident of Islamabad (i just lived there for 2 years, 7 years ago). If the Islamabad PCC form is similar to lahore PCC form and I no longer have a current address in Islamabad, then how will the local police office verify my location? Any help in this regard will be much appreciated. (Thanks for the kind guidance already provided by members lhr_montreal and cocknbull, this information has already saved me from making a grave mistake.)

Hi! On filling Islamabad PCC form write the duration of time you lived in Islamabad and write the address where you lived in Islamabad that time. Tell police authorities in Islamabad that you are living in Lahore now but you need police clearance for the time you lived in Islamabad for immigration purposes. They will write on your PCC the duration you lived in Islamabad. Thanks

Yes you need to go to kachehry in F-8 markaz Islamabad. Go to SSP office and get form from there. He will tell you what to do next. You need to sign it from 2 or 3 people and it can take a week. If you have some strong link in police or Margalla thana it can be done by friend otherwise you will have to go there yourself. But most probably yourself. You will need 2 photos and copies of ID cards. Thanks

AA! Amongst so many cases of refusal i've query for all respected forum members:
I'm March 2005 applicant and have 5+ years of expereience in two banks i.e. UBL and ABL. I've got experience letters from both banks but there is no detail of job description. It says that employee number xxxx worked in bank as xxxx and during his job his conduct was satisfactory and he left the job at his own will.
I even contacted HR department and got reply from them that this is bank policy and we can't issue experience letter specific to immigration needs. Please advise me what should I do?
Sincere Regards
Dear Abbas! I think the banks have standard list of duties / Job description for their diffrent caders/levels. Now when the bank has given you certificate of your cader, you may try to look for such a document (i.e. Banks HR manual , website , service rules etc.) that indicates typical job descrptions of their employees in defferent caders. You may list down the detail of your (actual) duties and those should mainly remain simliar to those described in that Bank Manual for your cader. Send a copy of that document / manual alongwith your forms where you will write/ enlist your (actual) duties. I hope you got my point !!!! If your bank does not cooperate in getting such manual and also not provide certificate enlisting your job description, then you can sue them. Coz an illogical policy is not implimentable and is defendable in the court of law.

Agreed i think an explanation letter stating the policy of bank and bank letter regarding non issuance of experience letter in detail will be sufficient for your case. it is written in immigration manual that if you can not provide an experience letter at all or in detail submit an explanation letter to justify your position. thanks Dear Abbas!

In mail VO ask my friend to update the new form along with latest pictures and police certi......now my friend asked me which of the following form need to fill... •Schedule 3: Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] •Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] (PDF, 536 KB) if you go the following link...you will two IMM008 form so which one VO referring to? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.aspI think the second form is newly designed (as can be seen at its lower corner) in Feb 2012. This might be an addition. I propose why not fill and send both of them, if there is not harm or conflict in doing so.
