today i have gone through medical examination from dr abdul wakil in karachi. by the grace of  ALLAH i think its fine, I.O.M (where med exam held) said they usually send the medical exam on every monday to india and they dont have any idea about how much time they will take to return it back to isb.
friends who are waiting for their medical or already got it, i suggest do the following tests like
urine dr
chest xray
it will give u sort of relaxation if they are normal, i did thats why i am saying

n dont warry about
hiv as all know how its transmitted, for syphilis (its also a sexually transmitted disease) so not a warry for all muslims hope so.

and i must say every one in khi go to dr abdul wakil a very soft spoken n kind person you feel relax

Hot-Lier,

thanks for your response. I assume the professor's husband did not receive any inquiry at his workplace either?
CHC is mainly concerned with the principal applicant's work experience claim, from what i have heard.

But in this Case both of them did't recieved any enquiry. (Applicant and dependent).

I have a question in my mind and I'd appreciate if some one answer it:

I have a 4 year job experience in the legal field. IF I start teaching in a college and after 1 year of full time job submit my application under 4131. So only 1 year of experience be counted? I won't get any points for my previous experience in a different occupation?

I manage only 66 points with 1 year of teaching experience. If the counselor overlook the previous experience.

I have a first cousin in Calgary. That is it! No other family member whatsoever.

I think I can't claim 5 points for that? Am I right? :-(

I am in same boat Bro,

I submitted full on May 08, 2009. CHC team visited my office for verification just recently; Aug 18, 2009, and then there is silence now.

There is nothing written about more time in processing for having served in Armed Forces, but your observation seems valid.

@   Rigmarole or anyone on the thread ~ can you shed any light on the subject?

Its a wait game. Play by patience.

Dear All
I will really appreciate if some one guide me that if someone had served in the military in the past, his/her application will take more time in processing, how long it take for verification.
I submitted my full application in first week of June but uptill now no response where as most of the people who submitted in June are getting response & even who submitted in July are being verified.

Kindly guide me.

My Observation is that they will take a month after verification for PA.

It's seemed that CHC behavior is discriminated for government background applicants. One side they are giving Visa to peoples with only 4 years background within 3 to 6 month, on other side waiting from last one year with 12 years professional management background for most reputed national and international organizations, International Certifications like CGEIT, CISA, MCSE and more than 10 professional training courses but still no reply.
I had worked for Pakistan Air force based organization as civil officer (IT Manager) from Nov 2002 to Sep 2007. Currently I am working for a US based Telecom company.
I applied 1st September 2008.
Full application request 24 March 2009.
Full application submitted 1st June 2009.
Current employer verification 25th June 2009.
No verification from previous employers.
Sent e-mail and FAX but no reply from CHC, Islamabad till date.

As Manj Posted that it is a time game and i add that it is not a timeline game. OFFCOURCE people which come up with a forces background have additinal verification in compare to Civilians applicants. But one should not get desperate but should keep for finally a good result to come.I am sure that all of you people which are comparing other timelines should also understand the complexity of case to case.

I will like to give you mine exaple, i got everything smooth and things were running very quickly and within standard time line but i have to appear for repeat medical tests and further, so finally i am also a couple of months late then normal time line. But i prays that all of us finally come up with a good news of PR Stamp and InshaAllha we all will be sucseed one by one as our other brothers allready have stamped.
