CHC's reply to Pre-2008 applicant, its really disappointing:

to adanish:

I just received below reply to my last week's query to CHC.

This is really now 'UNFAIR' - I have written again to them to please let me knwo the exact status of my MR as it has been over 90 months.

This is in response to your enquiry.

We have received enough Federal Skilled Worker applications since February 27, 2008 to reach our immigration levels for the next two years. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis. Therefore, few Federal Skilled Worker applications received before February 27, 2008 will be processed this year or next.

Applications submitted under the simplified skilled worker category, before 27 February 2008 and before the new regulations were introduced, must be assessed in strict chronological order based on when they were received. Under the immigration regulations in force at that time, a skilled worker application cannot be prioritised based on education, work experience or country of residence.

There are however other immigration categories that are subject to priority processing which can be applied for.

If you have been offered a job in Canada, or you have been issued a work permit, your application may be eligible for expedited processing. An arranged employment offer could earn you an additional 10 points for permanent residence as a skilled worker. If you have obtained an arranged employment offer (AEO) from a Canadian employer or you have been issued a work permit, you may send us a copy with a covering letter which will be reviewed by an immigration officer to determine if your file may be expedited based on your employment offer in Canada. If your file is not approved for priority processing, you will not be notified and your application will be returned to its original place in the processing queue. If your file is approved for priority processing you will receive further instructions and your application for permanent residence may be processed within 6-8 months.

You may also wish to consider the Provincial Nominee Program. In this program provinces are given more influence in the selection of applicants based on the labour market of that particular area. You must first apply for a certificate of nomination directly from one of the provinces. Once you have obtained a provincial nomination, your application may be processed in approximately 6 months. Should you wish to pursue this option, you must submit a new application for permanent residence with your provincial nomination certificate. If you already have an application in process this can be withdrawn and the processing fees refunded if your application is still in the processing queue. Please see the following link for further information on the Provincial Nominee Program http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kin... .

Dear, nobody can find a job for you from outside Canada. Dont waste your money on these fake consultants. They just try to earn easy money thats it. They will waste your precious time and in the end you will get nothing.

I know many of our Talented/educated Pakistani brothers here in Canada are jobless or doing odd jobs. So its better to come here and try your luck.

Hi!

No one knows for sure how much time is left. It could be a month, two or more. It depends on individual's case. If documents are well presented and everything is included it can be much sooner. Normally from in process to medicals take roughly 1-5 months but it can be sooner also.

Thanks

That's a point Muneer, how to get in to Canada.. there is one of the ways to move their (finding job). Other options..... I dnt have family / freinds there... The FSW has reached its cap and it always does.... I have studied alot with two masters and can't do more.... wat else could be the solution except finding work?

So I thought through this forum I would be able to reach communities who can guide me the ways that they followed to reach canada.
