You can't add her now. You can only add her after marriage.
Thanks for your prompt reply. Actually the reason I asked the question was that I could do the nikah now and add her as a dependent so that I could save my efforts later. Would it be hassle free to add her after I have applied my case with CIC? |

Can anyone guide that the Pre-June 2010 applicants who got
1: medical request after Jan 2012, OR
2: addition of “Actual Process Start date ...” in their status
was doing continuously emails to visa office? I did email to them in November 2011 and they replied in generic way “During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision". Wait wait....
Means I want to know, whether I have to email inquiry to visa office, can it be beneficial? or just wait.
Waiting for your valuable advice.

Dear All

No one knows how and when they verify and after 2nd AOR till VISA they can verify any time on any stage . They have your scan copies so they can verify any document at any time or may be not its up to VO. |

Yeah you can add her as dependent but you have to give a declaration that she is not accompanying you and the reason. But after you are there you have to apply for her as spousal visa. But when you have done with your nikah you have to submit all the documents of her's as well. If you do not wish to include her now with a thought that you wanna land first and then wanna call her then you can do it even now. As you will be PA and you have to land first and before the visa expiry she can land anytime. It will save your time and money that you might face laters. |

Ali is right. There is no set pattern. But I would like to add. CHC,London only gives verification calls if the Visa officer is not convinced with the documentary proof. And verification calls are not a routine practice that's what we have observed in MI-3. even less than 5% applicants receive verification calls. and so is the case with interviews,only those applicants are called for interview whose documents give any doubt to Visa Officer. So nothing to worry about. |
