I have attended the IOM seminar and it was informative although most of the information is available on the net still the lady who conducted the session was well informed and shared her personnel experiences of living in Canada. Food was also good and so was the interaction with the participants, I recommend every one should attend these sessions.
@ amerzd Thanks, I wish you best of luck in your efforts.
@ Jojobaba Good to know that we belong to same community, I am also ACMA from Karachi. Have you talked to our members in Canada yet ? the response I got from them is not very encouraging, I believe initial year or two will be very tough and demanding.
@ Amidala For medicals you need negative that's it.
@ ali786
Canada is recovering from recession but job market is still sluggish, for finance professionals jobs are there but unfortunately Canadian employers seek Canadian qualifications and experience, which we do not have. So we have to get enrol with their institute get the advance standing and then try hard to find job, we might be required to do volunteer jobs for few months just to gain local experience. I have been told to be prepared to do odd jobs in the beginning. Hope this should clear any doubts you have in mind.
Regards
M.Rizwan

Hot-Lier,
thanks for your response. I assume the professor's husband did not receive any inquiry at his workplace either? CHC is mainly concerned with the principal applicant's work experience claim, from what i have heard.

@ Hot-Lier and Other Senior Please.
It has Been 94 days since I had sent My application to Nova Scotia CIO under FSW. Do You all think its a normal case ? Don't You ppl think My application has got somewhere in this world before it reached CIO. I have my own reasons
1- I asked the Post Office company, They said, according to their record this application has already reached to canada, and i was told to contact there in canada for further assurance. now the questions is whom i should contact there in canada? I have already sent email to CIO. no reply so for.
2- I asked the Exchange company where i had made 1100 CA& DD. They said They do not have any record of this DD has been cashed or cashed already or will be em-cashing. I even do not know If the CIO has en-cashed my DD. dont youa ll think it is really hurting after even so many days i cant get any response from CIO. I have already provided them my email in application.
I was Living in UAE the time i sent Mya pplication, and now i have moved back to Pakistan. My NOC is. 4131 and 4141. Thanks
