I don't know If I am posting my first query in the right thread!
Actually I am a Pakistani national based in London, an ACCA member, having approximately 2 years of working experience in a practice. A week back, I have finalized my decision to settle permanently in Canada Via the skilled route. I have done quite a lot research and have come up with that I could convert my ACCA to CGA using the MRA between the designated bodies. But unfortunately the CAP for the relevant category has already been reached i.e. NOC 1122.
I am inviting the respected members on the forum to suggest me that should I wait until July when the CAPS would be reset or should I apply under any other category? What other categories are relevant to me?
Any help would be appreciated.

I think you will need to wait till July since it looks like there is no other eligible occupation in the 29 NOC list that you can apply in using the experience that you mentioned. Check out the list at CIC website. Could NOC 1233 Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners somehow relate to your experience? I don't think so but please confirm.

Salam, It has been a long wait for you but I think your PPR should be around the corner. From what I have observed on this forum, it can take anywhere from 2 to 10 months to get PPR after medical. Average time seems like 4-6 months. As for ECAS, I'm in the same boat. I had my medical done 2 months back and no 'Medical Received' entry yet. I was advised on this forum to send an email enquiry with scanned copy of courier delivery record to confirm if my medical was received by them. You can do the same. Hello and Salam All Filed application in ISB in June 2004. File moved to London in April 2011. Got Medical request in August 2011. Medical done and send over by doctor to London in September 2011. Since September 2011, its all quite. My eCAS still says "in process". When i click on "in process" it takes to me another web page, which only has to entries so far - We started processing your application in August 2004
Your file was transferred over London in April 2011.
So here are my questions Is it normal for eCAS to still say "in process" after 4 1/2 months of medical send? Shouldn't there be entry in eCAS by now, which should say medical received? Remember I am 2004 applicant, 90 long month wait. How long does it normally take to receive PPR / PPR1 after medicals have been send over to London office for Pakistani applicants, which are 2004 applicants? What can / should i do next? I know wait patiently is one thing, but any other suggestions? Thanks

Warning
To all Pakistanis from Lahore.
Please please do not go for your Medicals to Dr. Iqbal's Clinic. Two DMP's sit there. I went to Dr. Aamir. Dr. was nice. But the staff so ill mannered n liars...
Its been more than two weeks they have not given me tracking number. Upon my so many calls, they gave me a wrong tracking number (Highly unethical). They do not give any receipt or copy of any form for our record or proof. And for X-ray you have to go to some other lab which is 30mins drive away.........
They do not send your reports to your corresponding Visa office. They send every1's report to New delhi... and it was clearly mentioned in my medical instructions that DMP will send my reports to UK office, even then they sent it to new delhi...
Their service is pathetic.....
I will never recommend any1 to go to that clinic rather I'll discourage.
