under which noc you have applied , what is the meaning of provsional accpectance? I add you on msn .

  @   ali, my NOC is 0213, I had applied in Mar 2008. Provisional Acceptance is a positive outcome after you submit full application. You can see at http://amerzd.netii.net/pc09
the right most column represents very early stage "preparing application" and so on.... at the left most you will see "the finalists" who got their PR Visa.

Hi,

It seems i am late in joining this forum ! any ways here is mine timeline, i had applied for Canadian immigration in mid January 2009 and got the initial approval from Nova Scotia in Mid February 2009, then i submitted documents in end of April 2009 and got Medical advice letter in June 2009 and finally on 2nd August 2009 i received email informing me that my visa is ready and asking me to submit the passport and landing fee. I have sent my passport and landing fee on 13th of August and now waiting for return of passport.

I am planning to land in mid october but just for one month to get my PR card then i will fly back to pakistan to finish some pending assignments. Will request the members to keep posting their experiences even after landing so that we can benefit from them.

Did ur Ecas change? if it has changed then when did the the change occur? I have checked my ecas after 3 days and it showed DECISION MADE,what abt u? I have also sent my PP on 12th August,pls keep updating ur case here in this forum....

Hi ,

I noticed that there are quiet a few members who are finance professionals and are planning to do CMA from IMA , I guess just to add international qualification to their resume.

I have talked to few finance professionals working in Canada and the input I got from them was that we need to go for Canadian qualifications to get decent jobs in Canada, most Canadian employers prefer CGA, Canadian CMA and CICA, so I suggest that the members should go for CGA or CMA Canada to be acceptable in Canadian market.

This is just a piece of information and members are requested to cross check before taking any decisions, further I request the members to share information about settling in Canada and making career in Canada.

Thanks for being so warm in welcoming me to this forum, my status shows DECISION MADE , i have no idea since when as i rarely check the status. Have you got your passport back, i think it has taken a bit long as one of my friend just got passport in 7 working days.

For how long ur ecas is showing DECISION MADE?
I think mine changed 2-3 days back,I have seen people in this recieving their Passports within a week after that Status change.

I have no idea as i rarely check my status but it was only yesterday that I  checked my status and it showed DECISION MADE, but my friends status was in process when he got his passport back so I guess they are not updating the status regularly.

Assalamoalaicum Brothers,
    I read in this form somewhere that Dr. Rohina Sattar's PA asked for the negatives of the photograhs before conducting Medical examination.
    Since I got my photographs snaped with digital camera, I was worried what happens if u dont have negatives.(I do have the code no. issued by the Photographer NASA lab.)

Just ask your photographer to make negative from the digital photo. they can do this easily. i follow the same when my medical was due.
