There is mixed opinion on the forum QORAX says that it is acceptable

I cant find a solid answer on the CIC website.

I think that you deposit the funds by her name however if your name is in some joint account and you are accompanying with her to Canada then it will be acceptable.
Note: Bank Certificates / Letters, Joint Bank Account Statements (where co-holder is other than your spouse) or Bank Statement if it is in the name of the Company/Business, Bank Drafts, Saving/Investment documents, Fixed Deposits and Property Evaluation certificates are not accepted as proof of funds.

I am looking for quick and kind response.
My wife is PA and I am dependent with two kids.
I have concern regarding POF.......
Does money should be in my wife personal bank account or it is ok and acceptable by CIC if I send them my personal bank statement.

Yes I agree with this.

But it's better that Account of PA must have some amount in his/her account. And you both must send your account statement.
I did the same and I got PER.
I am PA. and I have 50% of POF in my account and about 50% in my spouse account. And it went very fine.

Few days back I had sent an inquiry related to get back copies of my FSW application which were lost earlier from my end.

You must be surprised that without taking little trouble to having gone throught the request, CHC london has just sent their standard reply which used to send to the applicants for those whose NOC are not in priority. This is rediculous and you can imagine that how competent they are.

I am about to start my application process. What I've learned from cic web site and other forums that I have to send the whole application package, including fee, to sydney, NC. Now I have some questions and I request if anyone please answer them/guide me in this regard.

You dont need to send the Police certificate with your application. It will be asked by your Visa Office at a later stage.

>> As I am applying from karachi, how would I send my application package to CIO Sydney, NC. Through DHL or Fedex? Or do they have specific service for this?

Fedex or DHL both are equally good. Fedex is bit cheap and takes approximately 7 days from Pakistan (it may vary).

I have sent email to london-im-enquiry  @  international.gc.ca  to return my original documents on 30 October, attached a scaned copy of signed application with all details. Automated reply came the next day that they will reply in 28 days.
When can I expect my documents ?    I saw on the forum that somebody recently received in 2 weeks his documents back after requesting.

CIC london send me Medical on 26 Sep but that was lost and not received by me. I inform CIC london and them email me that we will resend the Medical.

I request them to send VIA registered courier services like DHL/UPS/Fedex and i will pay the charges on receipt of Medical.

Is it possible that they send VIA above said courier services rather than ordinary mail.
and second they send me the tracking number or not ?

becoz the first Medical request was already lost.

Normally they send medicals in pakistan via courier companies, how did u know that they have sent you the medical earlier ? they are not sending any tracker number to applicants

U mentioned that TCS is delivering med letters in Pak, can u please tell me do they deliver directly to ur doorstep? or do u receive a phone call from them and thn u go and collect the letter urself?

Shah GJee you will receive a phone call to come to the TCS center along with money (If I remember correctly its Rs. 1300) and your original NIC.

as i also had applied on 22nd march 2011 and got initial approval from CIO on 14-04-2011 and they told me that my case will be forwarded to the VO london but after that i got no response from VO and my ecas is RBVO even i haven,t got the 2nd approval from VO and about a week ago when i contacted VO they told me that my application pending review by the officer......

First i thougt it was the usual delay but now come to realise that so many applicants in the same span of time got responses ...... can u advice me ?



mine is listed category NOC 0631 and i heard it normally get accomplish within a year .......?
