By the grace and help of Allah almighty i am don with medicals. We hd given blood test, urine sample chest xray and generalvchkup by dmp dr ahsan rathore. I must say dr rathore is very polite nd nice person nd lahorees shd chose him for medicals. Guys plz pray tht we get through wt medicals nd all stages safely nd quickly.

Is it must to take IELTS before submitting the initial application? Or one can submit the application and then take IELTS later on.

The initial application do ask about the English proficiency and one has to rate himself as 'high', 'moderate' etc.

IELTS test report is not required at this initial stage, you may rate your english proficiency you think will fit you best. you can later support your claim by submitting IELTS test report at a later stage to your local visa office, once recommended.

I gave up smoking completely......its been 9 complete days I have not even touched it

I had done it earlier also for complete five years and just started in stupidity.

I can give Totka to quit smoking - Just quit and turn your head away. Never look back.

For your medicals , I am positive that {owing to your age - under 70 years )) } you will walk out clean ...else nothing much can be done now, if there were damages done then these were already done. Give up smoking now or the doctor will make the process reversible!

Exactly, that's my point. Let the doctor know if you are a heavy, moderate or casual smoker and he will co-relate the lungs damage. Any false information could lead to false assumption about your medical state. Unless one has already developed cancer, smoking generally does not hinder any medical clearance.

It should not be an issue if you inform your DMP at the time of medical. Issue will be only when he/she asks if you are a smoker and u deny it at that time, but at the later stage (X-ray) they find spot that most probably is an indication of TB. Thats why they ask to have more detail reports.

No, it is not a must to take IELTs before submitting the initial application. You can rate whatever you feel about yourself ( keeping realistic points convenience in mind) and then once you get your initial approval from NS, do take a test and prove your metal.
