Hi everyone. I am currently facing a dilemma regarding Canadian immigration.I would like the seniors in here to help me in choosing between wether to self apply or to engage an immigrant consultant.I live in Karachi, Pakistan and initially I was inclined towards choosing an immigrant consultant to file my case but as time went by and I completed collecting documents required to go with the application , I thought to my self that self filing is also an option ,especially since I do no have to pay the exorbitant consultant fee .
Dear
I think u can apply on ur own, but this was the same situation which i had been faced when i applied last year, my suggestion for u is If u can afford a consultant than better go for it and only those consultant who are CSI member.
for that i would like to draw your attention on the following benefits whiich u get.
1. Most of the consultant use there candian address as your mailing address, that is beneficial in quick communication.
2. Consultants always use mails with insured amounts that is approx 64 pounds for one mail now adays, if u do it urself it will be burden for u or u have to keep ur doc uninsured.
3.they hav soft contacts in the CIC and VO whihc usually get them updated.
4. They are professionals, they used to do this work daily and u r doing it first time.
For all these reasons, i would suggest u to go for a consultant if u can afford it.
you can refer to my time line for refernce
