Canadian law does not allow two spouses at the same time. However you can sponsor second spouse after 3 years of first one. but you have to divorce the first one (See point # 2) Relationships that are not eligible
You cannot be sponsored as a spouse, a common-law partner or a conjugal partner if: 1- you are under 16 years of age 2- you (or your sponsor) were married to someone else at the time of your marriage
3-you have lived apart from your sponsor for at least one year and either you (or your sponsor) are the common-law or conjugal partner of another person 4-your sponsor immigrated to Canada and, at the time they applied for permanent residence, you were a family member who should have been examined to see if you met immigration requirements, but you were not examined or 5- your sponsor previously sponsored another spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner, and three years have not passed since that person became a permanent resident.
what a question!
as per my knowledge you can not have more them one wife at a time as per Canadian law. but on other hand Canada has a multi cultural society and it is quite possible there can be some exception for Muslims. i will ask from my friend who lives in Canada.

dear salman in the view of your answer regarding two marriages, i dont feel need to ask to my friend about it. shahid

Some DMPs are not satisfied by the investigations like x ray chest . They get them repeated and waste time. By the way can you brief me about the DMP you visited. I will come to Islamabad if your DMP is cooperative.

Get everything attested !!! Believe me...rather safe than sorry... U'll definitely need birth certificates...get them some way or the other...i know of quite a few ppl who got their applications back cos they didnt provide it...i sent my originals...why take the risk of getting ur file back!!!
