Hi Haral,

As you sent your detailed JD letter in Aug 2011, I guess they were updating your file with new job details that is why your address disappeared.

By the way we have more or less same times lines.

Dear fellows.            1: if a male applicant have two spouses as per islamic and pakistani law what canadian immigration law says about it? Will they accept two spouses in single application for immigration and issue visas for both the spouses with main applicant?                                                         2:  If an applicant got visa with one spouse and enter in canada and later on come back to pakistan and marry again without divorcing his first wife will CIC again accept 2nd wife in legal relation and issue her a family visa?                                           Cheeta

Polygamy is not allowed in Canada. Check this link; http://immig-canada.blogspot.com/2010/12/severe-policies-against-polygamy-by-cic.html

Lets wait brother, till they announce the Right Mix of admissions in to Canada by the start of Nov. this year....

There is a strong possibility that they will increase the FSW quota and if so then we may get our Visa processed within first three months of 2012.....

I think applying for CAIPS notes will be beneficial at the start of 2012....
ok buddy but its annoying that same job code of mine get medicals and passport request (even applied there case after one year time of mine application date)and this worst scenario happened due to injustice of cic  and so many applicants are hanged till.......................?

Hi

Can some one tell that how long does the next step takes after this date?

AQ

The whole process is completed by assigning BFDs, its not just a date dear.....

Your case will be processed and PR Visa will be issued and there will be a BFD for Visa stamping / Case closure as well.... Hope you got the point.....

Hi

How do you know that there is strong possibility that they will increase the number? Any data or article.... just wondering.

AQ

I have been closely following various forums since last few months and also have completed the On-line survey which was launched at CIC website (closed as of now) in order to decide about the right mix of immigrants coming to Canada every year....

While completing the CIC On-line survey one gets an idea that they want to review the number of immigrants in each category, the CIC minister has also visited various cities in Canada to get the opinion of people & employers in this regard as well....

Hopefully, the results of these surveys would lead them to a conclusion that the number of FSWs should be increased at the cost of reducing the Family sponsorship Visas.... This idea one clearly gets while completing their on-line survey, which i have personally witnessed.... and logically the Canadian economy can only be served better by having more FSWs as per demand rather than putting more and more Family sponsored people which are not contributing / bound to contribute in their economic growth .... A point to ponder Sad Sad

So be hopeful and wait till they announce the new quota by Nov. this year....

If your job code is there in the Post June 2010 category, then why not you think about re-applying?? This will guarantee you a PR Visa within 12 months after you apply..... Most of the consultants are advising the same to those which find the job code in the Post June 2010 list..... Think dear....

what a question!

as per my knowledge you can not have  more them one wife at a time  as per Canadian law. but on other hand Canada has a multi cultural society and it is quite possible there can be some exception for Muslims.
i will ask from my friend who lives in Canada.
