Got response from London today :
Standard reply.
CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.
Now this is very frustrating

DEar All,
I am new to this forum, I would really appreciate if you can help me in clarifying the following points as I am about to submit my documents to CIO under Federal Skilled Worker Category.
1) Where do I need to send my complete application and documents? I am confused because in the Instruction Guide it is written that the application should be sent to the following address Citizenship & Immigration Canada, Federal Skilled Worker, Centralized Intake Office 196 George Street Sydney, NS B1P 1J3 Canada But when I read the London, UK visa office instruction, it says that "All Economic Class applicants (Federal skilled workers, Provincial Nominees and Skilled workers destined to Quebec) from Pakistan, must use these instructions and submit their application to the London, United Kingdom visa office"
Now please confirm what should i do??
2) I dont have birth certificate of my wife, If i attach her SSC certificate alongwith her CNIC and passport copies then would it be enough orI need to attach more items?
Your early response in htis regard shall be highly appreciated.

Dear yousuf if i need to send my application London Office then why it is written on CIC Website that "Where to send your application: List of countries and corresponding Canadian visa offices Applicants for Permanent Residence You must select the visa office that serves your country of nationality or the country where you have been legally admitted for at least one year. •Note: Federal Skilled Worker and Immigrant Investor ApplicantsYou must mail your application to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. In your application, you must select a visa office to process your application. Please consult the chart below to find your visa office. Please somebody explain , this is very confusing.

As this is your fresh application, so whole package will go to CIO canada....not to London Visa Office. if your application recieved positive result then it will be farwared to London Visa Office directly by CIO.

EXTRACT FROM INSTRUCTION GUIDE EG7: "Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application Indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves: your country of nationality, or the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one year. Note: If you are applying as a Federal Skilled Worker or as a Federal Investor, do not select the CIO as the immigration office requested to process your application. Although you will submit your application to the CIO, you must indicate the name of appropriate visa office using the criteria above"It is categorically mentioned that we have to submit our application to CIO Office Canada then why it is written on 'London Office Guidelines that people applying from Pakistan under federal skilled category should apply to London Office. ? Please EXPLAIN...

Respected Asyousaf, as he is going to apply now, he will have to send his App directly to CIO, Nova Scotia, Canada, with all the documents required in checklists. Cheers,

The address u wrote in ur second last post is correct, you just have to include ur NOC in this address. Cheers,

It means u will send your application package like this, Citizenship & Immigration Canada, Federal Skilled Worker 1, (If you are applying without Arranged Employment Offer) Centralized Intake Office NOC **** 196 George Street Sydney, NS B1P 1J3 Canada It seems okay to me if you can provide her SSC certificate due to unavailability of her birth certificate. Regards, Nashe

when you open this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.aspyou will find this Mail your fully completed application to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. Means everyone has to submit one's fully completed applications to CIO now. It's for everyone. But in the form, in the section of Visa office you will write London (for Pakistan) Birth certificate is compulsory for both. If you don't have your spouse B.certificate then you have to submit an affidavit stating that you municipality did not have record of birth of your spouse but it is verified that her/his birthday is this. attested by Oath commissioner. But it also depends on visa officer working on your application,he might be satisfied with the SSC certificate and CNIC and he may not be. So i don't think you should take a risk. collect an affidavit.

My address on E-Cas status disappeared on 28 August 2011 and is still missing. Is there anyone else too on this thread whose address is also missing since that long or anyone who has received some good news after this long disappearance??
