@ Fareeha Congratulations. Please tell me if your address on e-cas had disappeared before getting MR and other things, if yes then for how long was the address missing ?? Hi Fellows, At last BY THE GRACE OF ALL MIGHTY ALLAH I RECEIVED MY MEDICAL REQUEST TODAY. A TCS guy called me up on phone in the morning at 9.00 am asking to collect docs from their office at main Nursary. He also asked to bring Rs1310/- and Photocopy and original NIC along. I collected at 2.00 pm. There were my original docs and medical request forms for all my family members.
Along with the Med req forms there is a letter in which they have asked to send the following. 1..Medical examination 2..Right of permanent Residence fee 3..what Two recent photographs of all applicants.
Now my question is that Does the Doctor return us medical forms after putting comments ? Secondly Is it usual to send the Right of permanent res. fee even before passing medical exam. Thirdly should we get new photos snapped as they have asked to send recent photographs, or should we send the same photos that were snapped 3 years back when we applied as SW

Thanks for your Valuable suggestions. I really appreciate this gesture & Congrats for getting PPR What is the difference b/w first PPR and second PPR?. How is ROPRFees paid? (I live in Karachi) Does Dr. Wakil have a female assistant to examine Ladies? Congrats, they usually ask for RPRFees with the MR, if u r in karachi than better go for Dr Wakil, Dr don't return back U those docs he will send them by his own, I mean the results of ur Medicals, they usually ask for fresh photos Take care Dr Aamir Warsi

Dear All
I have today received my original documents back from TCS office but with no medical request or any other intimation. That's it. I checked ecase status and it still says "in process" and does not tell about any decision. I am very much worried. What should I do next. Please give me your precious advice, whosoever has gone through such a situation. What should I expect/ do next?

I think, your case has been approved, because after the background check and before the MR, they send the originals back. after that they post the MR. wait for other seniors reply...
that is a positive step however application is not approved at this stage. still MR PPR is left. i would suggest you to write to chc and ask about the situation. hopefully u will get some thing out of it. Nonetheless it is a good sign

A TCS guy called me today in the morning and I collected the envelope from their office after paying Rs. 1310 and giving them a copy of my CNIC. I opened the envelope right there and found the original documents. I asked them can they guide me why there is no covering letter etc. with it. They told that that they cannot guide about this. My time lines were as under: Application sent: October 2008 Full documents sent: December 2009 Case transferred to London: 30 June 2010 Review started: 18 October 2010
Today another member has also received envelope like me but with full set. Does it happen sometimes that they dispatch original docs and Medical separately? What should I do? Please provide me guidance.
Thanks
Samina
You must write to chc

NO. To claim points, relative needs to be permanently settled in Canada.

Hi All!
A friend of mine who applied in 2007 for FSW has received the following email. Hope it will help to understand the time lines of backlog applicants. Here is the email.
Dear Sir/Madam,
This is in response to your enquiry
For Federal Skilled Worker applicants who applied before February 27, 2008.
We have received enough Federal Skilled Worker applications since February 27, 2008 to reach our immigration levels for the next two years. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis. Therefore, few Federal Skilled Worker applications received before February 27, 2008 will be processed this year or next.
The exception is the small number of cases where federal skilled worker applicants have already received instructions to undergo their medical examinations. These applicants should receive a final decision within 12 months of completing their medical examination.
The Action Plan for Faster Immigration has helped reduce application backlogs and wait times. Before the Action Plan was introduced, Canada had a backlog of over 640,000 people in the federal skilled worker category waiting as long as six years to be processed. In just three years, we've been able to get more than 300,000 people out of the lineup - that's close to half those who were waiting.
When a Federal Skilled Worker application is due for assessment, our office will send a letter asking the applicant to submit updated information in support of the application. This new information will be reviewed by an immigration officer who will determine if you meet the requirements for immigration.
Please wait until you receive this letter before providing any new information relating to changes in your personal circumstances, additional dependents, new employment, education or new identity documents.
Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
We have admended your e-mail address.
Yours sincerely,
