GCMS NOTES RECEIVED

I had applied for CAIPS and I received GCMS instead. It is easy to read than CAIPS and after reading it 2 or 3 times you actually get hold of things. Well my eligibility review at VO end is still not completed and currently my file is at Anti Fraud Unit I don't know if its a normal procedure or they suspect something in my case. Anyway, last time when my address disappeared it was not a system fault and they were actually working on it because the comments are made on the same dates. Some kind of assignment is given to one of the VO for my case and due date for the completion of assignment is 30th sept 2011.

Also they have 3 issues in my case. First, they want my bank statement as I only included bank letter at the time of application. Second, they want more concrete and conclusive proof of relation with my relative and proof that he is currently living in Canada. Third, they want to review my employment docs in depth.

I wish all the issues get resolved and they send me medicals request without any further requirements. Those who are still waiting for any kind of correspondence from their VO I would suggest to order CAIPS as it would give you a little relief that your file is not resting in the VO rather they are working on it but yeah slowly and you will also get to know issues they have in your application.

Hi!

Yes I also observed the same thing that those who applied earlier like in Sep/Oct 2010 havn't received medicals or gone in process yet. But I think they are very few. One reason may be when Ministerial instructions came into force to give priority to post june applicants, that time was like January / February 2011 so the applications received that time may be given more priority than to those received earlier in Sep /oct 2010. This is just my own guess and it can be wrong. This seems unfair that those applying late are getting priority. Example is pre june and even older applicants who have been waiting for ages.

Regarding those post june applicants who have been asked for additional documents I think they should receive their medicals in near future if everything is in order and infact many have already received. After receiving additional documents request one should expect medicals in 2 to 3 months.

Thanks

hello,
I am a May 2008 applicant and waiting for medical request. I got email from London to furnish addition docs like updated forms and police certificate about 4  months back . What should I do? should I send them email ? but they have written the following in their email.
Please allow four months for us to review incoming correspondence. All documents submitted in support of your application are subject to verification with the issuing authority. Please do not contact us unless there are significant issues which need to be brought to our attention

Dear All,
I would like you to help me in this. I have done Masters in Economics and have over 6 years of working experience. Currently i am working in large commercial bank as Risk Manager. I have all the required points, ILETS etc but the problem is that my occupation i.e. Banking or Risk Manager (Banking) is not among the eligible proffessions. I have met a few consultants and they are saying that one can make experience letters etc for any other category and I can apply with that. Now i want you to tell me that should i go for it or not? As per the consultant, experience can be make for Insurance Claim or Food and Restuarant category and it would also be verifiable.

Also, is there any other category under which Bankers can apply?
Looking forward to your feedback.

regards,

I didn't find any case conclusion date mentioned rather I found there was some date mentioned for the start of some assignment and due date or conclusion date for that assignment was mentioned as 30th sep 2011.

This is interesting. Thanks for letting us know. May I ask what did you provide for your relative living in Canada and what relation you have with him / her?

Thanks

You are welcome.
Well at the time of initial application to CIO I submitted my uncle's and my father's school certificates, his driving license copy, passport copy, home address and an affidavit etc. Luckily I have already sent them additional proof of relative before getting GCMS notes which will be delivered to them in a day or two to and I included his credit card statements, rental lease agreement, utility bills such as rogers, wind and comwave etc.

Plus I have also sent them 3 months bank statement though I have not received any kind of request for document submission from their side but my address is disappeared from ECAS and yeah address disappearance really works because last time when my address disappeared in July they were working on my file and I found some comments made during that period.
