thank u for ur guidance . wen we say that the transcripts should be in the university sealed enveopes.. then it means we have to ask for the envelopes from the university. and wt abt the matriculation and inter degrees. i think these r quite childish qeuries... . but educational part of the checklist looks quite ambiguas to me ..coz i m unable to understand the terms of completion certificates, evaluation commitee etc etc.. can u plz explain numberwise to me what should be sent as my qualification is as follows. MA MBA BSc FSc Matriculation (both of the master level degrees r from different HEC Recognised universities) One more thing attestation from notary..then have to go to HEC for attestation thats it? wen will they return our transcripts. Thanks once again.

In EG7 Guide Factor 6 if you notice it says:
A. Spouse or common-law partner's level of education
Guide does not say "accompanying spouse or common-law partner's level of education" so this means "accompanying or non-accompanying spouse or common-law partner's education's point can be claim
but in section B,C,D and E it says clearly says "You or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner". I think this mean if you want to claim point in section B,C,D and E you spouse of common-low should be accompany you to canada
but to claim points in section A, your partner do not have to accompany you to canada.
Please tell me if I am understanding this right or not?
Thanks in Advance
Factor 6: Adaptability (maximum 10 points)
A. Spouse or common-law partner's level of education Secondary school (high school) diploma or less: 0 points A one-year diploma, trade certificate, apprenticeship, or university degree and at least 12 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies: 3 points A diploma, trade certificate, apprenticeship, or university degree of two years or more and at least 14 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies: 4 points A Master‟s degree or PhD and at least 17 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies: 5 points
B. Previous study in Canada: You or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner studied at a post-secondary institution in Canada for at least two years on a full-time basis. This must have been done after the age of 17 and with a valid study permit.
C. Previous work in Canada: You or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner completed a minimum of one year of full-time work in Canada on a valid work permit.
D. Arranged employment: You earned points under Factor 5: Arranged Employment. 5 E. Relatives in Canada: You or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner has a relative, i.e., parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, child of a parent, (sibling), child of a grandparent, (aunt/uncle), or grandchild of a parent, (niece or nephew), who lives in Canada and is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

hi everybody i had applied for skilled worker immigration post june 26th 2010 my category is Dentist and NOC code is 3113 i had received my first acknowledgement letter on the 6th of jan 2011 with my immigration file number
well i just got my second reply today from london visa office. they have asked me for four things.... 3 of them r fine wimme but the fourth has worried me since i have read their letter here r the requirements they have asked for
1) updated imm8 and schedule 1 forms for me and my wife
2) updated police certificate for me and my wife
3) updated proof of funds ( they have not mentioned whether they want 6months statement or bank letter)
4) and most worrying .... they have asked for original University of Karachi degree certificates for me and my wife
at the moment i am very confused regarding send my original degree cz readingi this forum i have cum across posts in which people have mentioned that their documents have been lost in TRANSIT ( or transportation) ,,, the other issue is that i may be shifting to saudi arabia for job purpose, and i will definitely need my degree for attestations by the saudi embassy and for iqama when i am in saudi arabia.... this whole scenario is very much confusing..... even if it was not for job in saudi ... i still am feeling insecure about sending my original degree.... when will they send it back to me and all those thoughts are confusing me.... they have asked for documents in 60days.... the degree is the only problem
please any one help me .... will appreciate replies from the seniors of this forum and people who have gone through the same situation as mine
thank you all

Must be important. Send all these documents as ASAP. Dont worry they will return you all original documents when you will get visa. If you want degrees before your medical and visa no problem you can request them for this but after 3 to 4 months.

Yes i will apply again in end of aug 2011. Last time when i emailed to www.caipsnotes.com and ask about GCMS facility , they told me that not all the visa offices giving this facility (GCMS) may be in future CHC London worked on this. (GCMS or CAIPSNOTES charges are same)
