My e-case status is in process since october 2010, i sent several e-mails to case specifiq enquiry but havent got any reply, does any body has any idea reagarding the response of CIC , when will they wake-up.

Do I have to retake the test ?

NO. already extended for 2 years. Besides once you submit, the score is LOCKED. That's what I know

No. It is counted from the date when you submitted your Ielts and if it was valid that time then you are not required to send again.

Below is the detail of documents or actions that you need to take in order to comply fully with CHC requirements;

1. NEW BORN Birth certificates (hospital and ministry of health). No need of notarization. Only copies can serve the purpose.
2. Passport of new born (and visa page if residing outside homeland)
3. Five photographs as per specification,
4. Additional family information forms (update) and signed in original
5. Demand draft of CAD 150/- (in the name of RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA)
6. Information on height of new born at the time of sending forms.

Process immediately after the birth of child and inform CHC on earliest basis so they do not process your case with out this information otherwise it may take longer than normal due to delayed info

U can claim points based on your relative once they are permanently settled in Canada. That u need to prove by way of sharing permanent residence information, utility bills, tax return (if any).

planing to apply as Skilled Worker,just want to know,about the points for spouse`s education,passed the bachelor degree exam from punjab university,while studied in a college affiliated with punjab university,few days ago met a consultant,he told me that if the "lahore district" printed on the degree instead of college name,it is considered private,and no points will be awarded,

and on the web at cic site,mention that

Full-time studies — At least 15 hours of instruction per week during the academic year, including any period of training in the workplace that is part of your studies.

Full-time equivalent studies — The length of time that it would have taken to complete a program of study on a full-time basis, but was actually completed on a part-time or accelerated basis.

need the advice from experts that i will be awarded points or not?

Based on the 2nd clause private degree should fetch points...dont know fir sure...anyone with similar exp who did or did'nt get education points with a private degree???

I've heard of people with degrees from private institutes (Preston University) getting immigration, so I guess private degrees are acknowledged, but can't say for sure !
