thats good news..it means they wont be holding back on applicants who applied in fast track rules........parallel processing means they are honest in their intentions to reduce/eliminate the backlog....thats why they did'nt divulge into changing rules and just reduced the CAP to 10,000/ ...

I think this is only for Investor Program BUT I can be wrong  read this.


Guidelines for applications submitted to visa offices prior to July 1, 2011

MI-3 does not apply to IIP applications received by visa offices prior to July 1, 2011. Applications submitted to visa offices prior to July 1, 2011 will be processed according to existing priorities. As per instructions issued in OB 252, visa offices should continue to process applications in a 2:1 case processing ratio—specifically two older cases submitted before June 26, 2010 to one case submitted on or after December 1, 2010.

Any IIP applications received by the CIO prior to July 1, 2011 will be returned to the applicant with a letter stating that the CIO will only accept IIP applications on or after July 1, 2011.

These changes apply only to applications received under the federal IIP. The receipt and processing of applications for permanent residence for investors selected by the province of Quebec under its business immigration program is not affected.

So i finally got a reply from the visa office today.

What does IIP means??
specifically two older cases submitted before June 26, 2010 to one case submitted on or after December 1, 2010 and what about those whose applications are filed between June 26, 2010 to December 1, 2010, staralihaider is justified while saying it could be for Investor's program.........but doubts would be cleared once if we comes to know about what does IIP stand for.................

I got the answer it is Immigrant Investor Program so it is for investors not for fsw.....

Hi there. Hate to bother, but I wanna know one thing. What information is present in the AOR? Also I have heard that the file number starts from B. Is it true for every case?

I have raised case specific query to all possible places. Is there some contact # I can contact the immigration authorities on? I need to talk to a human rather than automated responses.

I have few questions:

1.  What's the best way to pay immigration fee (what's the normally the validity of Bank drafts from Pakistan)?

2. My spouse do not have birth certificate, only the  B- form for her family, she was born abroad, how i can get the birth certificate for her from Islamabad.

3.  Do we have to send orignal educational certifications or the photocopies, (I am unclear about it, as london office checklist only ask for orignal transcripts, not orignal degree and certificates )

IIP is investor program, our cases are in FSW prgram. So the post is not related to our cases.
