in IMM 0008 (Application for Permanent Residence) they ask for Visa office.

For Pakistan Visa office is Islamabad Pakistan or London, United Kingdom..?
(I understand that pakistani applications are processed in london) which visa office we need to specify...? Please advise..

After around 4 months of PER my address is gone from ECAS. Is it a good or bad sign? Anyone experienced the same and then what happened?

Thanks

Hi!

Thats fine. I also did the same and wrote in a cover letter that university doesn't issue 2nd set of originals and if they still want to see originals I can send along. So you are ok too and if they still want to see originlas they will ask you.

Thanks

Thanks Pittabread, so you sent the copy of the transcript and you got the initial approval right?? as you said if they want to see original they will ask you if thats the case then its fine, my worry is if I dont send original now then they might reject the application in the first stage itself is it possible?

Dear !

Yes I first attested copies from HEC then notarised then certified from my University and put in University sealed envelope and wrote in a cover letter that University doesn't issue 2nd originals unless first set is lost and if they still want to see my originals please ask me. I am pre June 2010 applicant and yes I have got my 2nd AOR already without any problems.

Yes for you there is no need to send the originals. Do exactly what I did and write that thing in a cover letter what I wrote. Everything would be fine.

Thanks

Thank you all who took time to respond to my mail ............... I have another question ............. in the country specific checklist they want Pakistani applicants to provide ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPTS IN UNIVERSITY SEALED ENVELOP................. is there any chance they will accept the Notarized copies and later on, once the application is filed they can ask for ORIGINALS and also if someone can please guide that if we need to provide  ......... Police Clearance with the application as it states that it is strongly encouraged with the application ............... the situation with me is that my wife qualifies under one of the FSW category. I am a Canadian Citizen who has sponsored her but spousal sponsorship from Islamabad is taking 23 months or more ....... she also has passed her Step one of Licensing Exam in Canada in her occupation while living in Pakistan .......... to me its better to wait for 12-14 months than to wait for 23 or more months .......... spousal immigration application gives them a lot of personal judgment to delay unlike FSW which is pretty cut and dry............... please advice
