Agreed Pitta you are right, what i'm thinking is these are propaganda kind of things what do you say???
 

I think pitabread is right. Had they received 20000 applications then all the occupations would had reached the cap. but as you can see from the link below that alot of occupations were not eliminated.
I tried to post the link but the system didnot allow me to. However if you got cic official site and then the
Eligibility criteria for Federal Skilled worker applications. You will see that a number of occupations never reached their cap


So i would say its time for pre June 2010 and post Feb 2008 cases to be catered for.......

Our application under 3112 reached CIC on 14th of June 2011 and the Cap got reached and was updated on 15th of June. I wonder what would be the status of our application ?

If cap got reached before us would they consider us automatically for this new Cap of 500 or we have to wait to get our documents back and then resend them.

I can not find the Visa Quota for 2011 but in 2010 they gave 48,815 Visas for FSW principle applicants.

i wonder how London VO works. some people who got RVO status early didnt get into IP yet, while the others do... How does it work? It is stressing.

there are factors like NOC, place of choice etc.. but it does not make any difference as there are people with in process status from a year. i sent full documents in dec 2009, noc 0213 and still rcvd by vo status.

Precisely. I believe alot of smart people like Mr. Tim would like to encash on our suffering by showing us some more ways to help us or satisfy our frustrations. But in the end i believe we would still have to go through the procedure of CIC which i am pretty sure is now going to be faster for us back Log cases...........where as he would walk away as a pretty wealthy man...........that we would make him(This is how i see it). I say its a good decision and i think its high time that they would start looking in to our cases...................

Well what i think is they will try to reduce backlog cases the reason is they have reduced the no of application to 10,000. so why should one go to lawyer. you are justified.

Somehow, those in the FSW38 are lucky enough because no quota was imposed. The release of FSW29 not only reduced the skills allowed, it made the entry tougher because of the 1,000 per skill quota. Now that the new rule is "softly" announced, from the 1,000 - it is cut in half. So let's keep our hopes up even if the status remains as RBVO or In-Process. The process will run and the visa will soon be released. In the meantime, we can read more relevant information on Canada Immigration <- Here

i am blessed with a baby boy MASHA ALLAH

now how do i need to intimate chc london office where my case is pending since ages.

i have not yet sent them any email after i sent my original documents alongwith case about 15 months back.

now that i have a reason to intimate them, please advise how and what should i write them in email informing them about my new born child and to inquire that how long its gonna take for their decision to be finalized on my case.
 
my timeline is as follows:

We received your application for permanent residence on February 4, 2010.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 16, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
 
We transferred your application to the London England office on March 23, 2010. The London England office may contact you.
 
We transferred your application to the London England office on July 27, 2010. The London England office may contact you.

Hello members,

Please advice me, I am planning to submit my FSW application, what I want to ask that we need to send the application to CIO right?
but in the london visa office specific form there is a note that

"All Economic Class applicants (Federal skilled workers, Provincial Nominees and Skilled workers destined to Quebec) from Pakistan, must use these instructions and submit their application to the London, United Kingdom visa office."

Please advice where the applicants from pakistan need to send the application.
