They will not inform you about the upgraded status..All you can know is the confirmation of your package delivery to their office and that also would be from your postal service only..
They will ask only if any further document/s needed..

i went to the same process and informed by them the same.

Hi,
I want to apply for Canadian Immigration under skilled class. I got enough point with my spouse.

1.  I need to know which forms & documents i need to send from the start. I will be glad if someone can provide me exact list for that.
2.  Do i have to submitt Ielts result? and how old it can be.  I did IELTS on 2nd june 2010 and its more then a year old.
3.  I am the primary applicant, my wife who will be accompanying me also have to IELTS TEST or its not required for her.
4.  Address and details where i need to send my documents.

I am totally new into this immigration stuff, so will have alot of other questions in future too, and looking forward to some experience member to guide me step by step.

The other thing i need to know from experience applicants,that its better to apply at your own or to hire some Visa Immigration Consultant for this purpose. Is it easy to perform all the paper work required for immigration. Incase of Immigration Consultant, which immigration consultant got the good repute in Islamabad with reasonable charges,and what they are charging for it.

- Medical for all applicants
- RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE (RPRF)
- UPDATED SCHEDULE 1 FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE
- POLICE CERTIFICATES UAE FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE
- POLICE CERTIFICATES PAKISTAN FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE

2.  Do i have to submitt Ielts result? and how old it can be.  I did IELTS on 2nd june 2010 and its more then a year old. CIC accepts 02 years old Ielts, so u can submit the same result.
3.  I am the primary applicant, my wife who will be accompanying me also have to IELTS TEST or its not required for her. NO, she won't  need to take Ielts exam

In any case u are gonna provide all the documentation and information to the consultant, he will serve u as a typist & a courier, i will recommend u to stick to this forum, go through senior's posts and if u are not good at documentation/afraid of errors/don't have time to explore this forum, u may go with a consultant to  Incase of Immigration Consultant, which immigration consultant got the good repute in Islamabad with reasonable charges,and what they are charging for it. I really don't have any idea about that.

Thanks alot, for your detailed answer, but i am still confused about the validity of the IELTS, otherwise i nearly have most of the paper work available with me. I heard from few forum members, that when you submitt IELTS result, it should not be more then a year old.

Any other opinion will be appreciated.

No problem dear Jade, it happens.
Thats y i wanted u to go through the General Information EG7, where its clearly stated that,
"Your test results must not be more than two years old at the time that you submit your application".

Can you please tell us did you send your application to London Visa Office directcly or it was transfered to London from Islamabad Visa Office ?
