how to translate NIC cards , is it really necessary for Pakistanis to provide NIC translated copy or if yes then from where i can get this because the nadra says they have nothing like translation of NIC card or there is any other place from where i can get this ,
" Photocopies of identification cards, Tazkira or Shinakhti Pass, with certified
translation in English or French for you and your spouse or common-law partner "
secondly , du i send my and wife original birth certificates ??

Hi! Depends on which city you are based. You can go to district courts in any city or kachery and you will find number of translators there. I am in Islamabad and I know the kachehry in F-8 markaz where there are many good translators specially one "Naeem translation house". After translation is done notarise that translation from notary public. Yes you need to send original birth certificates. Thanks |

Appreciate amerzd's efforts but for a translation to be authentic, on translation page there should be a stamp from translator saying certified true translation, his name, address and if possible an affidavit from a translator is also required. Please don't take me wrong or do not think I am undermining some one's efforts.

He and lot of others did the same and cic accepted. Even I did the same. CIC only need to see the translation in english of what has written in urdu. If they have doubt they can verify from the urdu copy of CNIC which we provide with full docs. The translated copy should be stamped from Notary republic [that is must]. The procedure which you told is also alright. But it doesn't make any difference. |
