Presently i m working in middel east. yesterday TCS representative call at home telphone and asked about me. He wants to deliver a packet to came from CHC london. But he denied to deliver any person at my home. He said that he will deliver this packet to only tthe athuorised person whereas authorised person is in Middle east.

What wil b in the packet and how to tackle the situtaion. Can any one guide me.

If it is Medical forms in TCS packet then this is the good news for all of us, because you are a pre june 2010 applicant and i think you will be the first one applicant who got medical in 2011.  

After receive this packet plz share with all of us.




It can be nagetive for you but i wish it didnt happen. On this time your status saying this.

Sir, did you update your new address to London CHC (where you are currently residing i.e. Middle East)? If Yes, then the Package should have been delivered to you in person. & If Not, then i suppose you or a family member of yours should contact TCS and inquire, if somehow a Representative can be authorized to collect the package on your behalf via a declaration etc. From the looks of your timeline, the package may contain Medical Tests Request or information of required updated documents.

Other members having experience regarding this type of situation can propose a better a solution.

I am afraid as my address was changed last year, for which I send an email about 4 months ago but my e-status shows the previous address, shall I write them again or this is their routine matter. but after hearing this that only principal applicant can receive the TCS packet I am now more worried, what to do now, I think writing again to them will be good as might be they missed my email or thrown in trash bin.

AOA All seniors here, I have recently got my study permit. I am really not a fit here in this thread but may I sneak in to ask a few questions !

1. At POE do I need to show PROOF OF FUNDS for my entire stay?
2. Can any one assist me with initial stay info in toronto?
3. Any best insurance policy for Pakistani students, if not included in the college fee?

Have you already applied for immigration before you got study permit or during the application process you applied and got the permit. if already applied for immigration what is your application status now.

Generally pakistanis are getting medical requesta from Islamabad  embassy ?  what do u think guys

I have mentioned in my earlier post that I got the MR from CHC London :-)

Nope,

TCS never called my cellphone - only the home phone. They caught me on their third attempt (in three days). The envelope in which the MR came (an A4 sized brown paper one) had my address AND MY HOME PHONE ONLY typed on its address label. So I guess the TCS people never had my cell phone communicated to them by CHC London.

If I were in your place (with a dead home phone number), I would go to the concerned TCS regional office (which forwards such inquiries) and give them my certified NIC copy along with a letter to contact me on my cell number in case any letter came from CHC for the person/address named on the NIC. I would also have contacted CHC to advise them of a new home phone number (unless that delays one's processing too much).

I think its time we should start using our brains. For those who don't have the facility of attending PTCL number at all time, just use call forwarding to your cell number. It will work even if your PTCL number is dead due to line problem. Here is the procedure.

Here is the complete procedure for all kinds of Call Transfers/Forwarding.

   1. Call Forwarding Unconditional/Immediate
      To activate *21*Telephone number#
      To De-Activate #21#
   2. Call Forwarding on Busy
      To Activate: *09*Telephone number#
      To De-activate #09#
   3. Call Forwarding on No Reply
      To Activate: *06*Telephone number#
      To Deactivate #06#

I think we should use the last i,e  CALL FORWARDING ON NO REPLY

dial e g. *06*03212736777#
you will hear a bell tone which means the forwarding is successful
to deactivate dial *06#

Dear dont worry ,I am sure it is MR celebrate dear,dont worry about the parcel being bulky it surely contains your doxs which are returned with MR to almost every applicant,if you have any doubt it can only be because of your points calculation but I am dead sure you will have calculated your points to be more than 67,is not it?

although Mr at this stage may be a surprize for every one but remember our visa office also declares to decide a case averagely on 14 months (now 16 months  ) seeing your time line you are right on target ,so no surprize, regarding your ecas status its showing nothing confirmatory, mine own turned to decision made then to Medicals recvd,then RVO,and now showing nothing ,not opening with the new file number,
 just relax and personally contact with the said TCS office ,send your father to that office and telephonically authrize your father at the spot in TCS office to fetch that MR parcel ,even if they refuse to cooperate,just get this parcel open in the presence of your father to see the papers inside them,I hope they will at least consider some of the above points,
