I have some confusion about IELTS points. If some body earn 5.5 and 6 band in IELTS how many points he will earn on the basis of 5.5 and 6 band.

Appriciated for early response.

Pls give ur individual score in each module of IELTS  as overall band score has no scoring and also mention if u are applying now or have applied before 27.02.08

Reading     6.5-9        4 (max)         5.0-6     2  (correction previous value = 5.5, new value 5.0)
Speaking    6.5-9        4 (max)         5.5-6    2
Writing       6.5-9        4 (max)         5.5-6   2
Listening     7.5-9        4 (max)         5.5-7  2

If u score  in the range of 4-5 in each module then u would score 1 in each

Yes. i applied in june09 to chc-isb but to date no PA and no verifications made by them, infact i also wrote them an email some 16 days back but havent recieved any reply to that either. All i can see on e-cas is that my case is under process since 13/06/09.

NOC 0213 (12 Years Experience) Current US based Telecom Company working as Director Development and Operations.
Previous Pakistan Air Force based organization with more than 5000 employers, worked as IT Manager.  Just confirmed, there was no verification from previous org.

I have a question and need your comments on that. My name is Ahmed Faraz

Its full name. No Surname or Father name is included in my name.

In My passport the information is as under

Surname : Faraz
Given name : Ahmed

Will it be a problem because in my application have mentioned it as

Family name : BLANK

Given Name(s) : Ahmed Faraz

I have sent my initial application to Sydney, NS. If it is a problem can i change it in the next stage ?

Dear Imran Ali,

I am sorry but you can not add your fiancee's name in your application at this stage. Fiancee is a fiancee and it is not of any legal value for immigration eligibility. Let the application proceed now as for a single person (that is you), and when you get married, you can always get her name added  by filling her complete forms and depositing her processing fee. You will not loose much time to get her endorsed with you. You will have the option available to add her till the time your visa is stamped, and till the time you have not traveled. (But if you traveled out even once, then this option will finish and you will have to sponsor your wife under family sponsorship).

I would rather suggest that you get your Nikah done for immigration purpose, while you could wait for 'Rukhsati' as per your family's plans.

Dear Ali Imran,

As per current processing times/trend ur application might take more than 6 months ( Approx 8-12 months or above).So U would have enough time to add ur spouse. I think it is better to apply now to be in que rather than wait for 6 months.
However when u add ur wife in ur application u should have funds req for two persons in ur bank account.

Dear Ahmed Faraz,

1-just make the necessary required changes in the forms when submitting to CHC and also attach a cover letter explaining the reasons of change in surname/given name.
Other members may have different to say about this
2- For getting PCC from Lahore( if u are in Lahore) u have to go to CCPO Office,submit 3 snaps,copies of PP & CNIC, an application. PCC would be avaiable in about 5 days on appearing before the CCPO office. If u are from other city pls share ur place so that the relevent member could reply.

I should advice all new commers to give thier full details in their queries so that members could reply easily

I don't think so. Others please comment...

On passport there is no requirement of Picture age where as for forms and othere requirements of CHC these should not more than 3-6 months old.
