: :'(PHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Today i got reply from CHC london
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your enquiry.
CIC is working closely to manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories of applications than limits within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must process applications according to the priorities set by Parliament. As we have a sufficient number of applications in our high priority categories, we are not in a position to process your application at this time, nor can we predict when processing on your application will resume.
Yours sincerely,

Guys you have to look at this reply with a deeper perspective. I may be wrong but what I get from this is that they have to admit a certain number of FSW applicants in 2011 and at the same time they have a huge inventory of pending applications from 2009 as well as pre 2009 applicants which naturally and logically should be given priority over 2010 applicants. So, if I am not wrong, they have put applications from pre 2010 applicants on high priority which seems logical and fair. When pre 2010 inventory gets cleared, they'll turn to post 2010 applicants. This is purely my personal observation, hence may not be 100% correct. Seniors are encouraged to clear any doubts and come up with their own expert opinions! Best Wishes to all! Today i got reply from CHC london

I was wise enough not to send originals. I wrote that thing in a cover letter that university doesn't issue second sets of originals so I sent notarised + hec attested + university certified documents in a university sealed envelope. In any case if they need originals they can ask me later. But my whole life earning, my education documents are always preferred over any CIC / CHC or any Immigration...........

I think they have decided not to admit Muslims to Canada anymore & so they will keep floating our files & issue visa to very very few just to maintain their gesture of non-discrimination. Disappointing indeed...... I think this may not be the case. Look at CIO, they are issuig PER's at par with other religions or nationalities. If they want to discriminate, logically they should start it right from the begining. Yes we can say something fishy is going on at CHC london, don't know what. Pakistan's securty situation is not very good also and its a major factor. Look at zalmaday's case his background\security check happened on 12-01-2011 when a guy apeared in his home village enquired about him and his credentials, and according to Dr sb his village is a remote place in mountains and a difficult place to reach. Keep ur hopes high. One other thing i have some relatives in canada and according to them things are getting better for muslims. They are creating better enviornment to fascilitate them especially in practising Islam. My cousin is there since 1999 and he has a very good job, recently his company has built bathrooms with water and prayer areas. ALLAH will Help us INSHALLAH. and INSHALLAH we will succeed against all odds.

hhmmmmmmmmmm..........! Look guys, to me, its quite simple. One has to 'hope for the best, but prepare for the worst'. I'm surprised how fast some of us lose hope. I know its hard to concentrate on other plans, when you've pinned all your hopes on a massive change in your life. But you can't give up all that effort and waiting, just because of one lousy CHC reply. Star Ali, you were always harping on your faith in Allah SWT. And I always admired you for doing that. But giving up just because of one reply??? Never expected that. Anyway, I just want to remind everybody, that 'always have a plan B'. I'm no Einstein, but even I have a Plan B and a Plan C... from Day 1. And I do believe in Allah's benevolence. I believe whatever happens with this Canada thingy, it will only be for my and my family's good. And I am not going to kill myself over it. You shouldn't either. Have some faith! --------------------- Azad Jan.Guys you have to look at this reply with a deeper perspective. hiya, its really discouraging! i was almost passed-out when i read this!! of-course life doesn't end here but how we can go for other plans when we don't have our original documents in hand? should we ask them after this long wait to give our documents back...this doesn't sound wise either !!!! so folks, we are stuck between the lines now while CIC is showing a real stuck-up behavior towards any processing. well, to me this waiting for this Canadian immigration sounds like "waiting for Godot" .....broken heart!
