Dear All Seniors and mates
I sent my full application to VISA OFFICE LONDON in late October 2010.
But after waiting 03 months I had not recieved any AOR from London Visa Office. Then I sent them an enquiry asking about London Office File Number so that I may correspondence with them in future. In response they informed me that "your file has been placed for next stage please have patience and your  London Office File Number is same as your previous CIC file number" and after having same file number when I again checked my e-case status it has been changed as "Decision has been made" :-( where as 1 month back it was showing status as "Visa Office has recieved your file"

Please can you guys tell me that an early decision means "REFUSAL" or may be some good news.  As it's been just three months and they have taken decision.

My points are as mentioned below for your assistance:

Expereince            7 years           21
Education             14 Years         20
Age                     30 Years         10
IELTS          6.5  7.5  7.0   7.0     14
Spouse                12 Years          03

Total                                         68

and Occupation is very HOT as "Welder"

Regards...

Your campanion

Your spouse need to have at least 12 years of education and One Year Certificate or diploma or training to award you 3 points for adaptability.  So if your spouse is simple F.A, Intermediate then I am afraid you will NOT get any point for your spouse.

I send my full documents to CHC London on 18th Jan. I have not received any 2nd AOR yet.
But the status of my ECAS is showing in "In Process". When i click on in process for more details, it shows the following:

We received your application for permanent residence on June 11, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

Dear alizia

I think you should update CHC London in writing on the following address:

Canadian High Commission
Immigration Section
38 Grosvenor Street
London
W1K 4AA, United Kingdom

Please visit the following link which states that "updates are only accepted in writing":

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/update-how_mettre-comment.aspx

Regards

Azhar

Dear friends
Like all others my E-CAS status is also updated.
Apart from medical submission
in my address one field is wrong i.e.
My house # is wrongly mentioned
It is 205 but written 25.
Rest of address is same as I wrote

What should I do
Should I send them e-mail or write a letter to them telling them typographical mistake

Agreed

Hi ali,

No man its a system error, Presume that they are trying to clear the backlog, the blunders they are commiting in Ecas updation in hurriedly is daunting for applicants who are anxiously waiting for some progress for a long time.

They have not mention in my case the date of Processing starts, and in lot of other cases they have showed medicals recieved even applicants have just send their applications, what a mess it is.

Dont know should raise the query to CHC London for this error or not?

Brother usually change in ecas status directly to "Decision made" means refusal but it is also observed in past that it may be an error in ecase. So dont panic. Wait and see.

Hi

I think you have miscalculated your points. If your wife got only 12 years of education with no 1 year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship then you willl get 0 points for it.

A. Spouse or common-law partner's level of education
 Secondary school (high school) diploma or less: 0 points
 A one-year diploma, trade certificate, apprenticeship, or university degree and at least 12 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies: 3 points

Brother I think you will not get the points you stated below. I mean sopuse education of 12 years will not yeild you 3 points rather it will not yeild any point because as per instruction guide 12 years education with 1 year diploma / trade certificate / university degree will yeild you 03 points. So in my opinion you will get 65 points.

However you can improve your english further and can get full 16 points and also claim 2  points by getting basic ability of french and reapply in future.

Azhar

Hi

Just for you information, visa office do the points calculation again by looking at the documents so does not matter if Nova Scotia has approved the application because under old rules you were not required to send the documents to NS and when people send the documents to visa office they get rejection because NS made decision by looking at the given information on the forms and visa officer check documents before awarding the points and many applicants loose points when visa officer do their calculations. I have seen many applicants who got approval from NS but rejected on the basis of points by visa office so there is no guarantee about the points even if NS approved the application.
