Hello friends,

I am a silent member of this forum. I and my friend RAO started Canada Immigrations process together. As he is posting all information and ideas which we have so I remain silent. But I remain in contact with Manj Bahi and some other friends. My info and time line is as under:

NOC     0213
Experience     12 Years
Initial Application Sent:     September 1st, 2008
Process Started:     September 13th, 2008
Full documentation request received:     March 25th, 2009
Full documents submitted:     June 1st, 2009 
Recived by CHC Islamabad:     June 2nd 2009
Possible points i have:     74
Job Verification from current employer:     June 25th 2009
Current Status     (Waiting for Acceptance letter and medical)

I have few question  

1. what is current normal processing time frame for CHC Islamabad as CHC mentioned a long time line http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/canada/cit-processing.asp

2. Is there any delay due to PAF background (I have 05 year (Nov 2002 to Sep 2007) IT&Telecom management experience for Pakistan Air Force based organization as a civil officer) as the provide only experience letter with Designation and job duration no further information (I submitted job offer letter, Experience letter, Pay slips, Tex return from finance dpt and explanation letter).

3. I have noticed a typing mistake in Schedule 3 form, Instead of 08, 2007 to 06, 2009 I typed 08, 2008 to 06, 2009 (Missed one year) against my current job. On all other forms and experience latter date is correct.
Can I send CHC email or Fax to update this mistake or just wait for letter?

As u all know that I have recieved PPR+RPRF+Updated Bank Statement(3-6 months ) request from CHC,Islamabad.Now as I have already told u people that I had Joint Account with my mother and I have submitted the Bank Statement of same Joint Account at the time of Full Application submission to CHC,Islamabad on 7th May,2009 with an Undertaking from my mother that she will have no objection if I withdraw the whole amount.At that time CHC didnt raise any issue.
                      Now with the advices of some seniors,I opened a new Bank Account in my name and transfered the required amount from my Joint Account into the my new personal Account.I have sent the Bank Statements of both Joint Bank Account and my Personal Account with an Explaination letter and Passport on 12th August,2009.
                     I also sent a query to CHC regarding this issue on the same day I have recieved the PPR+RPRF+Updated Bank Statement(3-6 months) request.Now,in response to my query ,they have sent an Email reply today on 19th August,2009 which is :

                 " Skilled Worker applicants are required to submit proof of sufficient funds in the form of a bank statement in their name only. "
Now what u people think that in this scenario should I start getting worried or start biting my nails or just relax !!!!!!!!! As CHC has asked for 3-6 moths Bank Statement but I have provided them 6 months Bank Statement of Joint Account with my mother and only 7 days Bank Statement of my new personal Account.Now where I am standing with this whole messy situation ??

In my opinion there is nothing to worry about you would get PR INSHA Allaha
1- You have required funds in your own account
2- You have provided 6-months statement of joint account with declaration of your mother regarding NOC. Indicating that you have equal right to the funds in this account. Morover, you have also transferred the required funds from joint account to your own account,which is another indicator of ownership of your funds.
3- I don't think so that just because your account is 7 days old there could be any problems as u have provided ample evidences to support.

I dont think there is anything negative about this email, as you have already transfered the amount in your own account. (Unless i miss my guess: the total amount is 10,833 CAD $ or equivalent pak Rs?)

i will going to the NADRA office one of these days for the PRC (permanent residence card), for sending in full documents application to CHC Isl. can anyone comment on the nature of this process? as to what are the requirements, how long do they take to issue, so that i go prepared and no further time is wasted.

This timing is based on old system..they do mention somewhere on the same page that new time line is not possible at this stage due to insufficient database.

2. No. First, they do not make any inquiry from PAF. Second, your submitted documents from PAF are taken as authentic as a PP or a NIC due to nature of the organization. You know my background too.

Please do this immediately. You can always correspond with CHC for any update, change in marital status or corrections in your documents/statement. Must explain in your cover letter (or fax) that this is a typo error and you should attach the copy of same documents highlighting your actual record.

Imran: dont worry you have also provided them explanation letter along with both statement so I am sure there would be not any problem and you will definately receive your passports back with PR visa very soon.

SSKhan: I have bought only 2 book for practice and that also from an old book shop for 150 rupees along with CDs. Visit some old book shop they have so many IELTS preparation books with CDs. PRC is like a family tree too i suppose it contains names and details of all immediate family members, if you are married, then you, your spouse and children details, all on one document. the checklist of CHC Isl required documents includes this requirement as the last bullet point under the 'Identity and Civil Status Documents".. ammm, u mean...is it only required for proof of family members living in canada??? o0ops???
