 Dear Manj,

You are a finance guy & me too, Would you share what/how the CHC Investigation team inquire about your JDs and did they also require any assignments/reports/tasks completed by you. Would they ask these questions from your immediate boss or from HR.

Thanks & Regards

Clarification: My post about copy of Marriage certificate

Dear Hopeful Canadian and afraz (and any other member who can help),

thank you for your replies. We have the original but need to get a original copy from the mosque/person who did the Nikah and then get that copy translated in English and notarized.

As I said earlier, I met him once but he had no clue what I was asking for. The reply from Hopeful Canadian was helpful and now I'll visit him again and explain what I need.

Can you please answer the related remaining question:
When I ask for a original copy of my "Nikah Nama", will he simply write whatever on a plain A4 sized paper or will he fill out some pre-printed form? I am assuming that he will be able to find the for my Nikah in his register.

Thanks.

Dear SSkhan

In our case we got our Nikhnama translatedin english. Got that translation and copy of Urdu Nikhnama attested by foreign office and sent that original translation and attested copy of Nikhnama to CHC. They have accepted it and never asked for Original copy. I got my medicals in June.

As per our consultant when you get your Nikhnama translated in English and get it attested from Foreign office it becomes an original copy. The translation of Nikhnama was on a proper official paper available with translator.

How can you send old passoprt...it will be expired if not then must be in  possession of Passport issuing authority...Dont you know it is illegal to keep two valid passport at one time

Thanks Raoo & Amerzd

My meds were sent on July 22nd

My old passport had less than 6 months left before it expired, so i got a new one.
They don't keep old one, rather they just stamp it "New pp# so & so issued on date so & so" & return it to u.

How can they keep it. I have valid visas on my old passport & if they keep it i won't be able to travel on my visas. They told me that i can attach old passport with new one. Now i was wondering if i should send both of them or just the new one to CHC.

Does any one have latest information about how long it is taking from Pakistan Lahore to apply for Canadian Immigration for Skilled workers category for DOCTORS?

Could you please also let me know the time line if some one has applied and how much every event took time.

Any thing one should be careful about when applying under DOCTORS category?

Thnxxx

doctors should be careful that it is extremely difficult  for foreign trained docs to get into residency in Canada(required to practice medicine).

How long does it take to apply??? That depends on ur reflexex Smiley If u ment how long does it take to get visa, it's no different for doctors than anyone else...

How long every steps take , many of us have added our timeline to our signatures (see below every post)

Hello everyone, I am regularly watching ur questions and answers. Honestly seniors are very helpful to newcomers.
I have a question, My name is ahmad in documents I use ahmad with a, whether in passport it is ahmed with e at the end. same matter with my son, his name is mohammad in documents but at passport it is muhammad.
Please advice me what spelling I should use in Immigration forms?
regards,

Gujjar, if modification in only passport can resolve all issue then you must not think further. just go and fix your passports....

Dear iateapple,

I had kept the information to only three persons in the office; Company owner, Chief Adviser and my boss - the director. All are in their late 50s, early 60s. It was kept so confidential that my HR had was astounded and had to get permission from Company owner before meeting with the team. Same happened with the GM Admin. I don't think pen poisoning is anyway related.

Manj

 @  Manj,

Did CHC do any Phone verification before coming in person? Somebody may have written poison pen letter to CHC

Thanks for the reply honeyborn. Will appreciate your reply to a PM that I have sent.

BTW, from where did you get the translation done (for your marriage certificate). From the Foreign Office??? (which I doubt) or from the "courts/katchari" area where all notary public, translators etc. are sitting?

I will be very grateful for your reply to the above question and my PM.

Many thanks.
