Thanks for the information which could be true. Its good that they screen people. Unfortunately, we Pakistanis are always doubted...so let the scrutiny be done...and when its done and we are proven clean, then we would at least live in a cleaner environment. I do not wish my children to live in the shadows of fear or death. They better grow peacefully and contribute to humanity and happiness of mankind. May Allah (SWT) bless Pakistan and things change here too for good. (Ameen)

Won't be telling the story here as it's confidential.

They will go to the roots and gather every information about you which even you wouldn't know. They don't take 1 year or more for nothing you know.

Question about Marriage Certificate
I need to get a original copy of my marriage certificate and then get it translated in English and then get it notarized. Can anyone guide me how can I get a original copy of my marriage certificate? I went to the mosque and talked to the person who did our Nikah but he could not understand what I was asking for.

Can someone please help and guide in this regard.

Does any one have latest information about how long it is taking from Pakistan Lahore to apply for Canadian Immigration for Skilled workers category for DOCTORS?

Could you please also let me know the time line if some one has applied and how much every event took time.

Any thing one should be careful about when applying under DOCTORS category?

ASSALAAM O ALAIKUM

The Nikah Registerar is the person who keeps the " Nikah Register " having his copy inside that Register. One copy is given to each DOOLHA  and DULHAN at the time of nikah.You need to know the person that had nikah Register on the occasssion of ur marriage. Your Family could have brought Him with you or the Bride's Family could have arranged Him so Locate that person and get another copy of your NIKAH NAMA. Then you can get it Translated and then get both of them certifed for submission.

Why you are asking for the Nikahnama any other person. Where is your(Dolha) copy of Nikahnama? You or any of your family member must collected it from the Nikah Registrar. If not then anyone from your wife's famliy must have collect her copy of Nikahnama?

I suggest you should check it with your family/your wife's family about the Nikahnama copy then you should consult the Nikah Register.

Why will they start inquiries about the applicant's father, his Occupation, Preiod of employment and behaviour with the other employees ?
Similar names as Osama or others makes sense. Have n't heard that they also inquiries about applicant's father. May the context for this information is different (If a father is applying for his son on sponsorship). Anyways thant for sharing the Information.

Did CHC do any Phone verification before coming in person? Somebody may have written poison pen letter to CHC
