manj, to me this is very strange as i never heard CHC guys physically visiting the workplace to do the verifications. maybe my lack of information... i heard australians do so with australian immigration applicants, and that too very rare. can you yourself think of a reason why they didn't verify by phone and why they wanted to personally visit the office and see the documents that you most probably would have already provided them with your application (like contract etc). but just like Ra00 said, nothing to worry about if you didn't hide anything. please excuse my ignorance but i dont know about your NOC. can you share your NOC here. thanks. best wishes and i pray the verification comes out positively for you.

Hi Manj, It is really shocking and strange that CHC can go to this level !!! Anyway, as long as all information provided by you is correct and healthy you do not need to worry at all. My all wishes and prayers are for you and your sucess.
If you look other side to this activity which is something "movement" in your case "a good sign"

Dear your story of CHC,IBA investigating team is quite shocking and out of routine. Would you please share your following details:
1- Your city
2- YOur compnay, whether it is private or a govt deptt. or some sensitive govt agency
3- Your NOC/Occupation
4- The team members were local or foreigner
 Dear your reply would help the others to remain vigilent and undertand the current scenario

Quite strange, i never heard of something like this from CHC. May it is not a CHC visit, it can be a visit from some government deptt in any other issue. Whatever the situation is, lets of hope and pray for the best.

CHC people visiting personally seems strange, in my case they made phone call to my previous employer and confirm about me. After 4 days of that confirmation I received Provisional Acceptance Letter. I think that all they check about.

Hi Hammad,

This is also strange that you got your PA after 4 days of your employer's verification!!! In my case my employer verficiation was done 20th July 2009 and since then I am waiting for my outcome ....

Dear all,

Thank you for your very sincere wishes. I was on phone with my consultant discussing the scenario when your messages poured in.

My consultant informs me that he too has observed that earlier the verification were made on maybe 5% of the cases like this but in past two-three months, it has risen rapidly, maybe upto 40-50%. It is more for cases from Islamabad/Rawalpindi due to easy access. They exert their CHC authority un-necessarily on whoever bends in front of them, otherwise as a principal, the organizations are favoring them by verifying details on applicants from their office. This is exactly what happened in my case when my HR refused to go beyond a certain limit of providing information under our Company policy. I am not worried at all but wanted to caution you all friends.

For the benefit of all, I am again putting down profile;

Applied to NS, Sydney, Canada: mid-Dec, 2008
Category / NOC : 0111
1st AOR: mid-Jan, 2009 with file number
Complete application sent to CHC Islamabad: first week of May, 2009
2nd AOR from CHC: mid June, 2009
My city: Islamabad, office located at a distance of five KM from CHC, Islamabad
Office: Private, multifarious businesses
Verification team: All Pakistani, two ladies and one gentleman

And while I type this, they team has just walked into my GM Administration Officer's in our office building.

It seems that CHC people know or Allah Almighty know what they do........
I am a August 2004 applicant. In 2005 I left the job during whaich I have applied. My employer told Visa officer(they called 2-3 May 2009) that Mr. Hammad resigned. Then they ask about my duties etc..... I believe that my peovisional acceptance is based on my previous job, however I have updated them with my current JOB and other information they required in the PA letter. Documents were submitted on 30th June and still waiting for medicals.

manj, looks like your office is somewhere in blue area or secretariate area because that is very closed to CHC Islamabad. my previous office is also in Secretariate which means they may do the same in my case also. Ya ALLAH khair .

Resignation should be any issue. it is everyone's right to switch job at own wills. Changing job has nothing to do with CHC decision. As you have already update them with your new detail so at your side nothing is pending.. best of luck!!!

Dear Amerzd,
My point is not resigning...but want to make a point that CHC people try you to reach minimum required position in terms of points and when it is reached they confirm the perticular stage and move to next one. I am sure that my changing the job does not make any difference at this stage. Lets see when I will receive the medicals call. I am praying me me as well as all the members of this forum. Inshallah good news is on its way for all of us.
