20 points for education Hi all,
My application status:
Sent application to Sydney NS: 26th April 2009
Received AOR/recommendation from Sydney: 02 June 2009
Now i am facing great trouble. I can't send full application to islamabad since i have not taken IELTS and French exams yet and on my inquiry French Alliance told me that it would take a year to pass Basic french level 1 to 3 and later needed to appear in TEF exam too. I have only 120 days and it seems to me better if i withdrawl my case and apply again.
Any sugguestions? I am afraid in near future they would change 38 occupations. And without French i can't qualify for 67 points. What should i do now? How long would it take to get my fees back? and how to say to them return my fees? I have sent them email but they are not replying.

Going by the information you provided, you do seem to qualify without having to claim points for French. However you will need to obtain maximum possible (16) points for English I am assuming you have a 4 years bachelor degree. Yes you will get 22 points for that. Your work experience of less than 2 years will get you 15 points as long as its more than 1 year and within your nominated occupation. You will get 10 points for your age And you will get 5 points for your family (sister) in Canada Your total score is: 68I would suggest to give yourself 1 month to thoroughly prepare for IELTS and aim to attain a score of minimum 7.0 in each band. This will allow you to claim 16 points for English. Good luck! |

Exactly! SK is right that you can still apply only if you have required experience within the last 10 years. |

Hi ,can anyone tell me the exact amount in pakistani rupees of RPRF fees which is 490 canadian dollars but in their web site they mention it in rupees ,so what whould be the exact fees of RPRF as per CIC islamAbad ,i think it is fixed from CIC islamabad ,kindly reply plz thanks and takecare

I am really concerned about receiving my original documents back from CHC Isl. i have asked this question earlier, and got an appreciated response too. fine, i will get a duplicate marksheet issued from uni and send it. but what about original birth certificates, nikah nama? if there is assurance of originals being returned, i may even send my original transcript, as getting duplicate issued may delay my sending the package.
also, I need some support and wishes for my IELTS test, plz do share any tips in that respect.

Dear amidala, I send all originals (education, nikah nama, kids birth certificates, B from) and got back everything safely. They only kept original IELTS, letter from my current employer. Just go ahead send originals or few members have send notarized copies and got acceptance without any problem. |

Birth Certificates and Nikkah Nama must be original. Educational documents should be notarized photocopies, not originals and all your original documents including your B.C and MC shall be returned to you after processing |
